  1. The Shaft and a 7D and you're a DP, Director and Cinematographer these days. Hands off my Shaft!
  2. He is the most best super cool Steady-Cam operator around! And his collar is most high popped yes.
  3. Atlas is the smaller two spring arm and the Titan is the existing four cartridge pro arm. Lifting capacity is on par with G50 with the added bennifit of not seeing your footsteps in the shot Oh, that's a decent lift. Wonder what the pricing will be indeed...
  4. Very nice. Bring it to the Stabilizer Expo in June plz or I'm buying a Basson.
  5. :D That's some serious kit right there. Looks like the job is yours.
  6. Do you have a pic Jess? I've been contemplating the TR-05 film tools cart, or possibly building one from magliner parts. This thread nearly has me sold on the film tools cart and I could pick it up around cinegear.
  7. Selling a PRO Docking Bracket with two 1.5" Docking Rings for your high and low mode pleasure. See pic $250usd kevin@denversteadicam.com
  8. He is crazy good at those slow moves. Very nice.
  9. Flew that exact camera/lens setup on this spot at around 9,000 ft in the Rockies. Not winter though luckily. But still had very uneven terrain, mud, rocks and such. Best advice I can offer for working at altitude is drink LOTS of water and get someone else to carry your sled back to one. That way your are not waisting precious energy when you are only breathing around 75% of the oxygen you get at sea level. The shot at :07 in was a nice trek up hill through low scrub. Around 6 takes. You bet I had a grip carry that sled back to the start. Now that I think of it, I'm always operating at altitude. 5,280ft. minimum here in Denver. No wonder I'm so tired all the time.
  10. Neat little rig for high speed shooting. Works well at what looks like 16mm. He could post stabilize that footage and get near perfect results.
  11. Very subtle, but I am watching the reflections in the chrome grill of the pickup in the second spot. I think I see an operator, not a crane arm. They did a great job of avoiding reflections though so it's hard to say. Having zero knowledge of the techno crane, I don't know how the shots would look, but the little imperfections tell me it's a steadi. Maybe he backs up a gradual ramp at the end?
  12. I started seeing these about a week ago and wondered who it was as well. Solid operating no doubt. Nice work with all the extra placement too with the crosses and weaves.
  13. Please do not use your front porch as storage. Best Regards, East Alton, IL Home Owners Association
  14. Selling my GPI PRO Green Screen Monitor with PRO Monitor Bracket with Clamp. This monitor is a champ for outdoor viewing! Serial #070. I acquired it during a sled purchase and determined I won't use it. Picture is bright and sharp. Brightness and Contrast controls work great. Case is in great shape! Frame line generator however is fading fast. The lines are barely visible, so I just turn them off. Monitor works fine without them. Also comes with pro power/video cable. One end is slightly loose where the picture can drop out if shaken too much. Easy fix for the right cable tech. Not sure what these go for today, make your best offer. kevin@denversteadicam.com See pics here!
  15. I picked one up late last year, the build quality is amazing. Also agree that being able to take it down and clean it is a plus. For now, it's my "Pro" arm. (Until I get the new one) 63lbs max carrying will get me through most jobs. It really is bang for the buck. I do get the usual spring boing noises once and a while.
  16. Chris, I'm in Colorado. Save yourself the wobble and hire me ;)
