  1.  Hi Erez

I would buy the flyer over the pilot for several reasons .

    1. The Arm will carry a larger range of cameras .

    2. The vest is far more substantial and better fitting then the pilot .

    3. The sled, the top stage ,dovetail plate is far better then the pilot large plate.

All considered the Flyer for me is a more versatile rig and you would use it longer then the Pilot .

And Please it's Steadicam No Y ok

    All the best

  2. Hi Joeri

    Welcome to the steadicam community.

I would firstly read everything in Newbies as this is a well worn path you have started on so all of your questions will be answered here ok .

I would also contact any steadicam op's in your area and get there advice on the market You want to work in .

    Good luck

  3. Hi Jamie

As to the battery Hanger YES it is a Steadyrig Battery hanger .The electronic on the base I would say are the same as a PRO 1 design you can switch from 12v/24v but you can't move where you would like the power to come from like the Pro 2/3 .The BH simple plugs into the base .It looks like a great rig for the price .

    Good luck with it .

  5. I would be contacting what ever the ASC is in Spain as they may have a list of operators .Do you have freelance Agents in Spain again they may know of steadicam operators in your area .As Lisa has already said The Steadicam operators Handbook is a GREAT place to start. On Youtube there is the EFP workshop video which is also good to get a great deal of operating tips from .You could also contact your local Tiffen reseller as they may also know of some local ops as well .Good Luck .

Here is one for sale on Face Book .The G-Zoom is a great replacement and his customer service if required is also very fast so I am told .As for price well quality douse come at a cost that what I say to my clients .When I step out on set My Reputation is on the line every time so I want my gear to be the best money can buy and in doing so it is reflected in my invoice.

    Good luck

  7. Hi Stephen

You could do a static balance with a C stand but not dynamic balance as you will not have enough space between the stand and the rig .If you have a hard mount you could use that by mounting that to something (tripod or 2'' scaff )and then you will have the room to dynamic balance it .

    Good luck

    Louis
