  2. Just wanted to give a shout out to Mike and the rest of the guys at Teradek for their excellent after sales service. My Bolt went down in the middle of a shoot and they were very quick to respond with some on set trouble shooting. When that didn't work, an immediate shipping was arranged by them to help me cut down the turnaround time. And within a week, the unit was back across the continent in perfect working condition and they even updated me everyday with the progress of the repair. It is such a pleasure to know these guys got your back. Am a happy customer and the Bolt is doing a great job back on set. Thanks Mike!
  3. Very good idea. i would suggest an extended area beneath the mini SDI in/out points with a HDMI cable Clamp idea (like some 5D Cages) to protect the very fragile connections. J
  4. Thanks Daniel. It sure looks sweet. Apparently its not upgradeable as its a total different hardware configuration too. Bummer. Its definitely great to have that manual calibration like the BFDs. Fly safe. J.
  5. wait, there's a V2? So you have the link for it? Thanks
  6. Hi All, Up for sale is my workhorse SD wireless video system from Boxx. It is one of the most reliable SD wireless systems in the world with superb image quality. It has served me very well and is in tip top condition. Its really easy to set up, just plug and play. PAL/NTSC. Boost almost 500m line of sight with the additional Panel Antennas that are included in this package. Extremely lightweight. It does have a slight 0.4ms delay so I use it together with the Behringer Shark DSP 110 to offset and sync. All you need is a decimator for HD cameras In the package: - Cobalt RX/TX - 2 Sets of Antennas - 2 Addtional ANT205 Directional Panel Antenna with solid L-joint connectors - 4pin XLR power cable - 4pin Lemo power cable (Aux) - ENG camera power tap cable - Behringer Shark DSP 110 Condition is very good and well taken care off. Great value with the items included. More info: http://boxx.tv/products/cobalt/ Price: 1500USD **Buyer Pays Shipping, item located in Paris, France** Email me at steadicamsg@gmail.com to deal. Kindly note I will not reply any lowballers. Thank you. J.
  7. Hi All, Am selling my light weight Artemis DV Pro MD Sled. Its the V-Mount model. It might be small but it performs extremely well with small to medium size cameras. 11. Hi, I currently have the Pro (before i knew it was called the Titan) and am really really happy with it. I used to have the Master arm and the benefit, like the G series, is to tweak quickly on your way back to 'one'. I got to test out the older G70 arm during a 30 day shoot in a humid jungle in Asia and it flew very effortlessly. I did not see any 'bounce' even in close 85mm slow shots. The only problem I had was maintaining a dirt and rust free arm if I didn't have the rain cover on all the time. The same problem that led me to sell my old Master arm. The environment in which i work in alot affected my decision mainly. With the Pro, you can just hose it down. I almost never use the rain cover these days. At IBC and Cinec this year, I got to try out both the Atlas and the Tiffen X series and i was blown away at the beauty of both arms. I tried out slow walks and running shots. The biggest difference I found is in the boom range. But you can always work your way around it. Otherwise, like any other advice, find a few ops around your area, give them a call and ask to try it out if possible. Good luck with your decision :) J.
  12. Jameson, Currently I am not using a zoom controller until I find something that will go with the BDRs. Let you know when i do. J.
  13. yup but the mini SDI output is very filmsy and you have to be very careful handling it.

  17. Hi Frank You should try giving Curt Schaller a call to test out the Satchler DV PRO MD sled. Its a great lightweight rig and fully affordable. Best J
  18. Unfortunately the display set was linked to a camera on a tripod and didn't see another one that was avail to test the range. The sales guy was way too busy to give me a demo. The thing about the CW1 is that its still a HDMI while the advantage of the Bolt is the SDI, SDI Loop and also powered by a Lemo that its easier to configure with our sleds. Boxx had an interesting lower cost HD model at the Tiffen stand but didn't have the chance to check it out. J.
  19. Hi, Got to check out the Bolt at IBC. First impression, its really really small and light. Its a simple slick design and the image is clean with no visible delay. The receiver at the show that I saw was still the HDMI version but it was still pretty good. There's well placed mounting points. The only thing i hope might change is the internal battery on the TX. Am not sure if i remembered clearly but the run time per full charge according to the guy at the booth is 90min, i think.. Overall am very pleased with the design and the function. Its simple. Best J.
