  6. Thanks for the add Juan! :)

  7. My click lock of my vest broke off a couple of days back due to the humidity causing a whole lots of rust. And I was in big trouble coz I had a shoot the following monday that I needed it and I sent a SOS to Ashley. And without hesistation, Ashley sent out the item even though it was nearing the weekend and amidst a busy schedule! Ashley understood the importance and urgency of the item to me and it got here just in time for me to put it on and get to work :) The turnaround was just pure amazing and even though I got my vest off second hand, GPI treated me like a valued customer and I really appreciate this tremendously. They definitely have my full support and definitely going to invest in a Pro 2 when I sell off my current system. Yup, many companies have alot to learn from them indeed! thanks everyone at GPI! joel
  8. hi guys, am also having a problem with my monitor blacking out in the middle of a shot. I have tried everything but it goes off quite often. mine is a V3 nexus upgrade. i also considered sending the parts back to howard to have a look when I chanced upon this thread. and thanks to Job's post, i now know to switch to sd when it happens, thanks Job! i hope to have a solution pretty soon as its quite hard to be confident on a live show if it happens often. if anyone has a remedy or solution soon please kindly keep us updated. thanks! best, joel
  9. Heya Rob,

  12. Hi, Am using the SWIT 190wh so far and its been great. So far has last very well on Alexa and Red shoots. Never had to deal with Genesis or F23 so can't speak for that but it has held up great on the shoots I've been on. Hope that helps Joel
  13. Thanks everyone, The Boxx and the Dionics are now on reserve. Anyone up for the arm? Thanks Joel
  14. Am not sure if what I last read was correct but the 8" has a lower nit reading than the 6"? Can anyone verify? It'll be great to know. Thanks Joel
  15. Hi All, Thank you very much for the overwhelming response on the items for sale. Many have asked the reason for selling the Boxx. I will be hanging up my gear for the next 3 years to further my studies in cinematography and will need to rapidly downsize my gears to spread the money throughout the course. I will be keeping only the bare essentials just in case I can still do a couple of small jobs here and there and hence having an amazing item like the boxx HD just to do student projects and small jobs will definitely be an overkill as no one will pay for the rental. I bought it from Stephen Consentino mid last year and he will verify its authencity. It was for a HD job that the director was particular about the clarity. Its in absolute great condition :) I keep gaff tape around it to prevent scratches and dents. Its 10/10 for sure. For the next few years, I will be using only my Boxx SD and my steadyrig silver spring arm as they are more than enough to keep me afloat. In the next few months leading up to the start of school, I will also be letting go my Bon 7" HD monitor, G-zoom Focus and Zoom control, and bits and pieces like low mode brackets and cables. At the moment, my Master arm has gained interest but no money is down yet. Batteries are on reserve. Will keep everyone updated when the sales are made. So do purchase with confidence ;) The boxx is available. Best, Joel

  20. Hi Richard, Am using 190wh Swit HC batteries and its serving me great on both 12V and 24V cameras. Its great for the price. Cheers! Joel
  21. Great stuff!! Love the horizons and the feel. Quite amazing how it was timed for the vocals. Keep up the great work! Best, Joel
  22. Sadly, at the moment we don't have the S2 on board recorders in Singapore so we went ahead with the idea of using the cinedeck extreme to record 4:4:4 uncompressed. Prep time was short and we had no time to fabricate a mount to the side of the cam. Also the cinedeck's weight might not seem too welcomed hanging off to the side. Not being a fan of running tethered on running shots (for 4:4:4 you will need to have 2 hdi cables running from the Alexa and the distance is limited from the village coz longer cables might influence the recording according to the tech), it seemed like the best temporary wireless set up solution till the S2 comes along to our rental market. Cheers ;)
  23. Here's a couple of pics from a current set up I have with the Meridien. Powered from a Arri 2pin to a hirose and when on the second set up (lower stage), powered from my sled 3pin lemo to hirose. Like Jason, I went with the one TX without the V-mount. Its quite wide compared to the SD version but after a while, you tend to not notice it anymore. Also with the Meridien powered from the Alexa, its a real joy to swtich to sticks or handheld without the hassle of rerunning cables. Hope that helps :) Best, Joel
  24. Hi Charlie, Can you please send me photos? Thanks steadicamsg@gmail.com Thanks Joel
