  1. Thanks Erwin for clearing that up. I figured gnespolo might find a picture of something that would work to "help" him out in his quest. ??? gnespolo, as Erwin stated earlier... patience ;)
  2. Hi Jerry Hill's site http://www.steadimoves.com/parts.html you may find what you are looking for there...
  3. Whoops... Just read about your "no budget", perhaps this is not the way to go then... At the very least it may give you some ideas.
  4. Walter Klassen makes a vehicle mount that accepts 2" pipe. http://www.walterklassen.com/vehiclemount.htm Good Luck!
  5. In my personal experience, Greg has fantastic customer service. Not to forget that his products are all beautifully crafted. You will not be disappointed.
  6. If all you are concerned about is the weight limit, you could get a small steel plate machined that weighs approx 1-2lbs and add that to the camcorder/plate assembly. This will bring it into the proper weight range. But as Erwin said earlier, give one a try first. Good luck! Charles
  7. Nice Work! :) Get her anodized and your off to the races! FYI: To keep the center of mass in the same place, the base plate must tilt at a common point (free-air, some inches above the base plate) that is relative to the cameras CG...perhaps think of a swing where the pivot point is the bar in the air (camera's CG) and the seat is the base plate, which only moves +-20 deg and can be fixed in any of those positions... Any which way, trimming the X is probably just as good! Take Care and enjoy your new POV! Charles
