  3. And the mail answer i got from you after i try'd to explain that its hard to convince the steadicam community and as a user of wireless systems ( 5 sets wireless sets at the moment ) i was interested in testing a unit out and would be happy to show this great community how well ( or not ) your unit is. And the answer i get is: So, this is where we get the, you need to pay up front to test it out. You ask for a payment and refuse to send a demo. Fine, thats your choice, but i would never spend a dollar on a piece of gear i never have seen working, no reviews from my collegues, just a compagny who is telling the are american, but all evidence tells us its from china. Victor is giving good advice, i would take that advice, cant hurt, can it? Good luck
  4. Could be me, but i was reading china into your signature, my bad? And i guess +86 in your phone isnt china.....
  5. Its a chinese compagny. I asked for a demo unit to fully test out, but you have to buy it. Never mind, case closed. No report from the field, no test result by fellow op's etc. I think i'll pass on this one for now
  6. hehe, and you did get a free hat
  7. I have 2 master vests. Gonna put them on sale soon. ( need to find the time )
  8. I too recieved mine from Mathias. Its so great, i ordered another one for my second sled. I bought it complete with the monitor bracket, wich is far better then the original mk-v one i had. I had vibration issues, and there gone now. Very, very happy with it.
  9. http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=19100 Double post, old news
  10. Yep, like you said Chris, got conformation that my monitor glass IS bounded. The only thing needs covering are the knobs, WICH jaques promised me he would design a waterproof one. Cool, very cool.
  11. Movi is old news http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRKu785g0O0&feature=youtu.be
  12. Sony p1 and now the new thompson p1 like makes the LINK one of the needed systems.
  13. Have 2 of them, both in great condition and not used much. There are back up monitors but never needed. Make an offer
  14. I have no idea how old my 2 monitors are, but i think we bought them as soon as the came on the market. Shows how good the are :-) Thx for the info
  15. The Voice of Holland / Sytycd / Holland Got Talent / Idols / Popstars , i shoot them all with the Thompson LDK 8000 on my Nexus rig. Sports / concerts / and other " outside " events, its all Sony P1 with a LINK system. But now Thompson also come out with a p1 kind of camera
  16. Just bought those, lets see how much that helps extending the range in this wireless world :-)
  17. lol chris, i do believe you. I did see the pics from you in the forrest, and its great it can handle so much. My concern is heavy rain, should i cover it. And that cover sucks big time, but i am to scared not to. I asked there tech in the booth and he recommended tthat cover. You could get the screen glued by transvideo by the way, so thats an option. Knobs could get a cover perhaps? Again, i urge new monitor to be rain proof so no more glare raincovers. Do you have the new version already? The 2000 nits? Is there a good difference outside? I only saw it at there booth Thx
  18. wow, just wow. ( now back on my arse again )
  19. If you could guarantee that it will stand in heavy rain, i'll will swallow my comment in. But as long as there own tech recommends me NOT to do this, its not water proof for me. I love transvideo stuff, i really do. I was only so hoping to see the new monitor to be water proof so no more rain covers.
  20. Not really. According to there own tech, the screen isn't glued water proof. So after a day shooting in the rain, i think it could damage your monitor. So that makes it not waterproof enough for me yet.
  21. well, i heard amsterdam wants you to leave :-) I hope you do this again some time? To bad i was so fully booked. Oh well, I think nurnberg ring is save to drive again :-)
