  1. I dont use it much anymore, so its time to go. It comes with hardmount, 2 sets of wheels. Special made spacer so you have indoor wheels ( small ) and outdoor wheels with golf course wheels )

2 sets of keys comes with the unit.  Looking to sell in europe, € 4500

  2. The All-new Ωmega Lite is a super lightweight and flexible system.

Weighing in a less than 1kg (2 lbs) less than a Preston MDR, but able to carry large cameras like the Alexa and Sony F55.

It has a 4 point ‘X’ contact bearing for stunning performance and zero play.

The Production unit is designed to fit into a Pelican 1620 case.

The Ωmega Lite is a 12v system and has minimal current draw and can therefore mount to any sled even the pilot.

Using a patented and designed registered motor belt drive system, there is a hole through the centre of rotation to pass all your power and focus cables through.

The System is designed for the camera to be nodal in the rotation and the mount is set at the standard base plate level. The monitor mount is adjustable and this helps with balancing.
Thats what he was advertising. Well, an stripped F5 wasnt working. The ring feels stiff, and the motor isnt strong enough. The software is a nightmare. We finally got a 10% spin, but like i said, it isnt working like the ad and clips he was selling. The main issue is that he isnt replying to anybody. What ever thing you might have, whatever issues whatever whatever, if you are selling a new product, you must be ready to face the trouble shooting, and at least reply. I am all for filling a lawsuite, and would be happy to sponsor that. I am in europe, so it might be difficult. But if some local op is willing to do the paperwork, i am sure every q branche owner would be more then happy to chime in.
  3. It all depends on your "standards" I guess when you start in this industrie with zero experience and zero budget, this could help out to make a start. In the starting days you dont know yet wich system you prefer, so something cheap will not be a painfull experience if you want to get ride of it after a while. I work as an op for the last 15 to 18 years, started with glidecam stuff and learned my way up. Now i use my equipment every single day and do lots of high paid high end jobs with it. I cant afford any downtime of my equipment and for my clients who pay high rates for you, you also cant show up with a cheap knock off system that can fail any moment. The saying: you get what you pay for, is the best advice i can give you. Cheap dasn't exist in our work. One way or another, you are gonna pay for it. Buying cheap and trying to rebuild or upgrade it, costs more in the end then doing it right from the start. But again, as a starting rig, we all started with something cheap.......

  4. Last week we had problems during a liveshow. For some reason the expensive thompson ldl 8000 wireless gave problems. I slapped my terradek bolt on my camera and dropped the receiver on my ac's table. Hardwire to the cameratruck and that saved the broadcast/. Funny though. My relative cheap system outperformed a 100k system.

Love that thing. ( we own 2 becose the brake down once in a while ) mostly power issues

  5. I emailed you a clip. Its a great little monitor. I just received a update which i need to install.

Till ow the monitor looks like 25p and not 50i. Even if you shoot 50i the looks are 25p. Perhaps the choice will be there with this update. The clips that it can record isn't hug he, so the quality is for viewing only. I am very impressed with the quality though.

The size and weight is fantastic. Image looks great.

  6. The used a system where all the "cuts" are programmed.

Still, you as a camera operator or steadicam op need to come up with your shot, or the auto "cut" will get you :-)

Almost, i mean Almost we would have the next version in Holland. We just lost from Austria by a few points. Would have been awesome to do. ( I already have done 2 versions of the eurovision songfestival children version ) Oh well, big concrats to Austria, and the crew who did a amazing job
