  1. Daniel, I don't believe any of Transvideo's monitors are transflective. Many of their screens are optically bonded to eliminate internal reflections, but the Rainbow HD is not available with a bonded screen. I use the Rainbow HD SBL and it's a great monitor with good brightness. On bright days you will probably see reflections. On very bright days I tend to use a monitor hood... possibly out of habit, I don't recall attempting to shoot without one on a bright day. If you are located within driving distance of Newark DE, feel free to contact me to see the Rainbow HD before you buy.
  2. Here are some adhesive backed tapered bumpers: http://www.mcmaster.com/#95495k24/=v2z1jx I believe these are a bit larger than the PRO bumpers... might have enough adhesive surface area to stick.
  3. Emiliano, I've looked through the settings on my monitor and I can't find a way to move the on screen level from the top to the bottom of the monitor. Maybe a future firmware upgrade will give that option. At the moment I'm using a spigot and transvideo clamp that connects to their slide system. So I can't give a recommendation on the yoke. The Transvideo yoke looks nice and can be made to connect to a variety of rods, but I haven't personally used it yet. I have a couple more weight plates made up if anyone needs one. I tried out a new powder coat for a slightly different look.
  4. I had the opportunity to work with Kyle and Michael and here is the solution we came up with. The center hub replaces the end cap on a Pro Lite base to add a battery without destructive modification to the sled. The V-mount plate has been milled out to house a breaker and can be integrated into the sled's power. The Anton Bauer version is a low profile plate for maximum rigidity, but it is meant to power accessories at the base of the sled by the Anton Bauer P-Tap instead of being wired into the sled.
  5. Up for sale is a custom modification to add a third battery to a Pro Lite Base. Simply remove the domed end cap and install this in it's place. Two versions available V-mount and Anton Bauer. 1. V-Mount: This version has a breaker installed so you can wire it into your sled and customize your power. $800 2. Anton Bauer: This is a flat backer plate and can not be wired into the sled. It is used for the added weight or the p-tap connection on an anton bauer plate. $750 Prices are for the brackets and do not include an Anton Bauer plate or a V-mount plate. The V-mount version does include a 5amp aircraft breaker.
  6. Gregory, thanks for the post. Glad it's been working for you. Emiliano and Andrew, I don't have any ready to ship at the moment. I've been making a couple of them as people want them. They are $350 plus shipping. In regards to the weight, I did start out with a heavier one, 1.83lbs making a RainbowHD SBL 3.55lbs. The problem was it was too long and prevented a 90 degree xlr from nesting along the bottom of the monitor. So when using the monitor with a yoke the xlr would stick off the the side and interfere with tilting the monitor. If the yoke was a tight fit a straight xlr would interfere as well. I can still make the larger version if someone really needs the additional .5lbs. I'll try to post a picture of it soon.
  7. Transvideo has this one http://www.transvideo.eu/store/Clamp-for-Slide It's meant for their slide assembly, but you could remove the four locating pins and just use the 1/4-20 screw to attach to any monitor. It comes without a spigot, but they sell those as well.
  8. Gregory, Glad you like it. I'll let you know as soon as I have pricing worked out.
  9. I just finished a prototype of a small weight plate for the Transvideo RainbowHD7 and RainbowHD7 SBL. I've been using the RainbowHD7 SBL for a little while now and love it particularly for a light running rig, but I've run into a few set ups where it helps to have just a little more weight out in front of the sled. So here is a plate to do simply that. This plate bolts directly to the back of the monitor using Transvideo's locating pins and a 1/4-20 screw. The pins hold it off of the monitor so the monitor still has air flow for cooling. It is centered vertically and horizontally on the monitor to keep the balance centered on a yoke. The bottom of the plate is even with the top of the 4-pin xlr connector, so if you are using a right angle plug it can still fit along the bottom of the monitor under the plate. It is machined out of brass for compact weight and weighs in at 1.25lbs. I'm posting this to see if there are any operators using one of these monitors who would be interested in one of these weight plates. I don't have pricing worked out yet, just seeing if there would be enough interest to look into setting up a short run of them. https://twitter.com/TRANSVIDEO_HD/status/500583861068517376/photo/1
  10. Thanks Jarrett. I didn't see that one when I searched that forum. Just ordered one from him.
  11. I'm looking for a dual Anton Bauer battery adapter. If you have one you'd like to sell pm me with details. I have a little over a week to source this before buying retail. Thomas
  12. I think I have a couple Master Series ratchets laying around. They are yours if you want em.
  13. Up for sale is an EFP Red Spring Arm. The arm is in good shape. The small screws that hold the bearing pins and arm stops have been replaced with new black oxide coated stainless steel screws. The socket block aircraft pin has also been replaced with a brand new one. The spring covers are a little dented in a couple places. Two of the covers have a weld that has failed in one corner. One of the covers binds a little where the weld has separated. If you are located near Newark, DE feel free to come try it out before you buy. Asking $4,100 OBO Contact me here on the forum or at Thomas.Crescenzo@gmail.com
