  1. Charles, Always good to see you. As I remember, Erich and I talked soon after Teds passing, and he sent me the master soon after. Not having a Betacam player, I'm not sure what shape it's in, but Erich owned a post house, so I would expect it to be in good order. I'm going out to the garage to look for those EFP tapes I have for eBay now. Ken
  2. I have the Betacam master of Ted's Day In the Life.... It was entrusted to me by the guy who shot it, whose name I do not want to misspell here. I just happen to check this forum, following a Reduser link, and saw this thread today. Then I ran into John Ryan at Focus Optics (where I am engineering their Ruby 14-24 zoom), and he recommended a post house that could dub this for me. I will talk to a couple of people (Paul Taylor, Dan Kneece) about distributing it. A few of you (old timers) know me, but for the vast majority of you, I was the project engineer on Steadicam 3, 3A and the first EFP (and the bag for the JR). I can't remember what I did on the Ultra (nobody else can either). I think I hold the record of being let go by Ed DiG. in three different decades. This Day In the Life.... is not so much about operating, as it is about who gets the butterscotch pudding from craft service first, and other important tips on being a good operator. cheers, Ken
