I had trouble powering Bartech with M-one, when racking focus the camera stopped rolling and the motor went into calibration mode. Use the D-tap from D-tap sandwich plate. JA

Actually if the Black Magic is newer version, you have to downgrade the firmware to use with the 5D MKII. It should take about 4 seconds for the image to return once the camera rolls. JA

Looks like a staged still shoot. All I can say about poaching is get a signed deal memo or don't consider it a booking. Producers "shot gun" call everyone, then weed out the pickings. A deal memo also prevents any shenanigan's at the end of the job as to what the deal was. JA

It's probably something you should pass on. HDMI cables are fragile and go bad all the time. The minor inconvenience of the cable running to the monitor is far less than replacing one running throughout the post. JA

Most of the guys I know have had a lightweight bundle made for audio, video, prompter and return audio to be able to record audio to camera on High end Field production. Mine is super lightweight on all wires runs from the camera to my hip where the heavy stuff connects.
