  1. Boom Bosh Thomas you should teach business class ! Fair play to you.
  2. Hey Ed Who is the steadicam op at your production company and how experianced are they ? I'd say you might be aiming a little high for an out of London production company but high is good if your clients are happy. Do you have a steadicam reel yet ? Good luck -Matt
  3. Brian I applaud you on your open attitued and showing early footage with your system. One thing I would say is try to take a step back and not get so attached to your design. It obviously has potential I think yes it would be possible to get some beautiful shots with it. However as some people have pointed out already the lack of automation will definatly hurt performance as well as put people off buying the product. Imagine running full speed around corners backwards, going low to high and tilting all at the same time could be quite dangerus. Yes your system is good as you know, but is it so good that people just can't afford to not have it ? Top steadicam opps are not skin filnts and will pay out gladly for a class product. I can see you like to cater for budget minded customer and this is greate, something the big compaines should look closer at ! I'd just love to see you take this concept further as i'm sure you will. Keep up the good work. PS If you ever need a beta tester I (and many others) would be honored to help.
  4. So it's been out a while now can anybody give a review of the arm ? -matt
  5. Indeed Brain I see your point and it is a good one. I think the perfect system would have auto leveling with a manual overide similar to the AR but without the canter axis. Then where talking big budget and it's not so fun anymore. What price point are you heading for the 360 ? -matt
  6. It then starts to swing. And it's realy cool to beable to tilt the camera in the desired position. Hey Brian, I was thinking more of a pully system like on some budget jibs could be a practical solution and would have zero swing. In practice i'm sure it's not this simple i'm just thinking out load really. Tilting with a remote just seems like it could leave quite a bit of room for error, but then again maybe just something else to master. -matt
  7. Would it not be possible to have the camera fixed by gravity so their would be no need to tilt by remote ? -matt
  8. Would be nice to try it ! Anybody got any experiance with the new actioncam system ? -matt
  9. Looking good Mikko  Did you have chance to try it in low mode ? -matt
