yes. The oem threads stripped when the grip did a hern to mount it.  The update is grip friendly and way more robust

Easy rig setup. Great for ATV and golf cart work. Lots of adjustment room. Rotates 360 degrees Robust Hardened grade steel post and nut.  Hi strength Aircraft pin replaces the roll pin. One setup, the OEM threaded shaft stripped and the roll pin contorted during a setup. Both were replaced by McMasterCarr hardened steel and high strength stainless pin  The pin is impossible to remove when mounted.
