  1. The Archer2 does not have an interchangeable post. How high of an angle is wanted? You could look into a longer gimbal post for an Archer, but i wouldn't go much more over 6 inches, due to torque reasons on the incorporated post. You could also extend the post and lower the gimbal to achieve a few extra inches or height.
  2. Bump. Sale fell through, so this setup is back on the market.
  3. For sale is a Preston HU2/MDR2 setup. This is only the Hand Unit and Receiver. I recently completed an upgrade and no longer need these items. It was just sent to Preston for servicing, and was given a clean bill of health. Included also is a G4 Board to install in the MDR for when you want to upgrade to a HU3 later on. I am selling it all for $4000, OBO. Included in this package: HU2 w/Omnishot Battery Adaptor MDR2 G4 Board 1 - Arri Run/Stop Cable 1 - Sony F5/55 Run/Stop Cable 1 - Red Epic Run/Stop Cable 2 - MDR/P-tap Power Cable 1 - Pro2 Electronics to MDR Power Cable 2 - Batteries Battery Charger MDR2 V-Mount Bracket MDR2 Pro Bracket (Not Pictured) 2 - Preston Motor Brackets (Not Pictured) 4 - Focus Marking Discs 3 - Iris Marking Strips Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
  4. Selling a nearly new Anton Bauer LP4 charger. I bought it in January, but it ended up being one too many chargers. Selling it for $850.
  5. Selling a set of 12 IDX Cue 150 batteries (PTap Output) and 2 VL-4S Chargers. These batteries are less than a year old. There first charge date was February 28, 2016. I purchased them for the weight on my previous setup, but I've switched gear and this weight is no longer needed. The batteries are in tip top shape with tons of life left in them. The 2 Chargers are in perfect working condition, and one of them had a new board installed earlier in 2016. One charger has a loose top handle which resulted in a drop creating a crack in the front display (shown in photo) but has ZERO effect on it's operation. I would prefer to sell them all in one package (makes it easier) but am open to selling them as individual pieces. Open to All Offers. Located in Atlanta GA, and will ship anywhere in U.S. Buyer pays shipping. Full Set of 12 Batteries and 2 Chargers: $3200. Individual Batteries: $245 each Chargers: $400 each Thanks, Aaron
  6. Posting this here figuring it might get seen better than the WTB section. I am looking to see if anyone out there has a Cinetronic Gen2 Monitor mount that Pro used to make and no longer using. If so, I am interested in taking it off your hands.
  7. Looking for a used 2 Stage Center Post, compatible with current Pro uppers and lowers. It can be either 1.5" or 2" diameter and Carbon Fiber or Metal. Just looking to save a little cash on putting together a new rig. Thanks.
  8. Thanks. I was able to get in touch with PRO and they helped me out. Yes, the HD cable is the same. I was wondering since they changed some of the connectors, and added others, that possibly the Post Cable changed, too. Nope, so all is good.
  9. Looking to purchase a set of Pro Jumper Blocks. If anyone has a set, or just one or two, let me know. Thanks, Aaron King
  10. Is there a difference in the Pro HD Center Post cable from the previous Pro HD to the Cinelive electronics?
  11. Very true. We were given approval for poorman lowmode for time reasons, so built accordingly. The handle is still on there with various things attached up top, so not able to go the traditional route at the moment. We got through the shot by other means, but if we go low again (which was said to be unlikely.. hmm) I will throw on my old sd monitor which had flip options. Needless to say, after this there are going to be a few more questions asked and tested when prepping for lowmode with the F55 on the next job so I don't get stuck like that again.
  12. When usually doing low mode, that's how I do it and production flips the image in their monitors. The problem on this current show is that the production monitors do not have image flip and they are all bracketed to an ellaborate desk system for the director making it "impossible" to physically rotate. We then decided to do the image invert on the camera and I would rotate my monitor. Once all was said and done and ready to go, I quickly realized that it's not a true image. Left-Right, Right-Left.
  13. I am finding the hard way that when doing low mode, the F55 doesn't seem to have a proper image flip. It only wants to do a 180 flip making left-right and right-left. This also becomes an issue with the Cinetronic Gen2 monitor because it doesn't have it's own image flip feature. Oh yeah, and the Production monitors don't have image flip either.
  14. Yes, thank you for the prompt replies and tech support. I really appreciate it.
  15. Today I had a recurring issue with my Batteries shutting down. I have IDX Cue 150's, and they are just now a year old. The issue that occurred is that 10-15 min after having fresh batteries put on my sled, the entire rig shut down. I would check the LED meter on the side, which would show no lights. CRAP! When I remove the battery, the indicators show full charge. I put them back on, and everything powers back up. This issue did not begin to occur until after lunch, and happened four times. I've never had this problem before, so am really confused by it. I'm nervous that this will happen again tomorrow during the middle of a take. Granted, it is very cold right now and we were outdoors most of the day, but I've shot cold before and not had this issue. A part of me wonders if it could be some kind of result of the battery charge cart being outside, rather than a heated interior/truck. My batteries stay on chargers until they are needed. This is something I make sure of, especially during the winter season. If anyone has any insight on this with IDX, or even Anton Bauer, please let me know. Luckily, the show I am on right now also uses IDX Cue 150's, so I will work with theirs tomorrow and see if this still occurs. Who knows, there could be an issue in my battery stage I'm not aware of. I sure hope not.
  16. Thanks, Jarrett. I figured that would be the case with their current model. If that's the scenario with their previous model, I might be better off getting ahold of a G-Zoom since those are more widespread.
  17. I am wanting to see who out there owns and rents a Preston Gimbal Micro Force. I might have a need for one coming up. I have an MDR2, so I'm not sure if they are compatible, or if there is an older model that exists. Thanks for any input.
  18. Is there any performance difference in power when a Gen2 Battery Stage is used with the CineLive Electronics than when using either the current Gen3 or 4?
  19. I have a set of 8 Power Cubes that I just recently retired early this year. PM me and we can talk more.
  20. I have a shoot with the Varicam 35 coming up in about a week. I've not had a good chance to mess with one yet and also haven't been able to find my answers through other searches. I am wanting to know what kind of Run/Stop input it has, as well as the Power Input to run off my sled. I figure the power is a 4 Pin XLR, but i just want to make certain. Thanks for any input.
  21. I am looking for a Preston Cinetape Cable. If any of you that have fully switched over to the MDR3/HU3 have the old Cinetape cable laying around and interested to sell it, please let me know. Thanks.
  22. This happened to me once as well. Try tightening down the flat head screw on the latch. That did the trick for me and has not happened again since. I do occasionally check the screw from time to time just as a safety measure. I hope this helps you out.
