Does anyone happen to know if the new Red Scarlet has the same power input as the Epic? I'm trying to find out if I'll need a new cable for a shoot I have coming up and I can't find a camera manual on Red's website or anywhere online. Thanks.

Not sure if they service this particular motor but Duclos Lenses in the San Fernando Valley is a quality resource for service near LA. If they do service M-One motors they'd be a great alternative.

Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a modulus but waiting for used ones to go up on the forum is difficult considering how fast they go. Who makes modulus, are they still around and if so what is their website or contact info? Thanks for your response.

Does anyone have the standard Arri BAT connector pinout?

Hi all;
I've found the easiest and has the most options to power the Red off my sled is to use the Red to 4 pin XLR lots of rental houses have in their stock.
I use my existing PRO to 4 Pins, of which I have a wide selection. I have so far avoided buying my own Red to Steadicam cables.
Because I can use the Red power off the PRO 2 pin lemo or the PRO 3 pin lemo on my sled I'd have to buy 4 cables, $800. I'm not happy about that.
Lately, I've had lots a requests for this set up and I may end up buying my own short, like 6 in, Red to 4pin XLR Male to make the set up cleaner. Two cables, $400., expensive but at least its half the price.
JA
Agree completely.
I always request a 4-pin XLR power cable from the rental house for whatever camera they supply, and have saved most of that $10k+ for the purpose of philandering.

Do any of you fine people happen to know the pinout for the RED camera power input? I can't find it anywhere online.

Hi folks
As funny as it may seem, I've just acquired a Seitz 8710A 3 channel system (an oldie but a goodie I hope!) and need a manual or copy there of to help me figure out the setup procedure.
Also I bought separately a second motor but it runs with 4 pin lemo instead of 5 as with the Seitz. Does anyone have a wiring diagram and will it work as 5 to 4 adaptor cable?
Cheers
Norbert
Hi Norbert
Way you did not ask me I do have manual for seitz 8720a do you want me to msake you copy? let me know
cheers milan
Milan,
I have a Seitz 8720A and have been looking for a user manual online but I can't find one. I saw that you have a manual, is it in a PDF format that you can share it on the internet? If not I'd be interested in buying a copy for myself. Thanks.

Another vote for John Ritter. Surprisingly fast, best price and hands down the best customer service I've had with steadicam gear which is saying a lot considering this community has the best customer service I've ever received.
