  1. I´m happy to announce my new mounting plate for the Arri Amira. Arri has the great UAP-2 cheese plate to mount our steadicam dovetailpate. Many ACs like the UAP-2 very much, too. But on top of the camera to mount mdr, transmitter, Cinetape, etc. From the rental house usually comes only one plate. So I find it very useful to have my own bottom plate and let the AC keep his one on top of the camera. Especially when dayplaying. available on http://cam-jam.de/index.html more pictuers and a video: http://cam-jam.de/amirabracket.html
  2. I currently have a battery back for the smallHD 702 in the works. It can be set up with anton bauer or v-lock batteries. The battery can be adjusted side to side so you can really have the battery centered behind the monitor. V-lock batts have very different shapes. Also a Bolt receiver can be stacked between my battery plate and the monitor. And it has mounting points on the side that meet closely the center of gravity of the whole package. So this monitor will fit nicely in my Quattro monitor arm with yoke. http://cam-jam.de/qma.html Fits also well to my handgrip system that Alec mentioned before. http://cam-jam.de/directorsmonitor.html Will post pictures, soon when battery back is ready.

  5. for sale: 1 pc Teradek Bolt Pro receiver like new condition! see pictueres! latest revision G with latest software just came back from service at teradek. They repalced a broken one with this new one. I sold my complete system and this receiver is left. asking 670 EUR shipping worlwide, 15- 40 EUR, depends on destination.
  6. http://cam-jam.de will have raincovers for monitors available in the near future. I´m getting molds for the platic parts built right now. It is a new concept that works with yokes and allows quick acess to the control buttons.
  7. The alexa bracket from www.cam-jam.de works with the Alexa and Sony style ENG cameras. No need to buy additional parts like V-lock plate. Also it is designed to work with your existing dovetail plate. So you won´t get problems with different tolerances from different manufacturers. http://cam-jam.de/alexa.html
  8. I got a few of these bracket made. Mostly because I wanted to have one for my own to get rid of one useless noga or ulcs arm. The transmitter is always securely fixed at one position. Does not change balance. Still enough space to use the cameras´s handle. Keeps the whole build as compact as possible. http://cam-jam.de/boltmount.html http://cam-jam.de/boltmount.html
  9. Hi Flemming, check out my handgrips for director´s monitor. Makes your future handheld monitor comfortable to use for directors. http://cam-jam.de/directorsmonitor.html can also be used as handgrips for the camera. fits to 19mm rods, 15mm rods and the rods on our steadicam dovetailplates, that have a smaller spacing than standard 15mm rods. Best, Matthias
  10. https://vimeo.com/152002969 If monitor software does not have a flip function, the Quattro monitor arm from cam-jam.de comes in handy. I do also have mounts for the Boland BVB7 to rotate it around it´s center of gravity, even with a battery on the back of the monitor.
  11. Hi guys, when you find the right recorder, I have a nice mounting bracket that fits many recorders. It works also to mount a small return monitor below the main monitor for PGM on live shows. http://cam-jam.de/recordermount.html Personally, I like the Transvideo Starlite. Unfortunately it has no Video output connector. Only loop through. https://vimeo.com/152759144

  13. Hi Benjamin, that is one of the reason why the Quattro does not use the spud, which is a left over from the greenscreens. We can modify your yoke only with a guide pin, but your monitor arm also needs to be modified. The spud and the receiver on the pro monitor arm (and others) is just not the ideal way of connecting the parts at this position. Just my opinion.
  14. RS-422 is of no use. Sony uses a modified RS-422 protocol for comunication between camera and ccu. Andy, did you ever sucessfuly use your beam to connect a ccu to a camera? If yes, please let us know the settings for the beam. Thanks
  15. With the cam-jam.de monitro arm, I do lowmode like this:
  16. The key to avoid alexa vibrations is to brace the hook in the back. Otherwise the camera body is a huge lever that bends the dovetailplate, which results in vibrations. The videos on my website show the flex that can be in alexa setups and how to avoid. http://www.cam-jam.de/alexa.html
