I agree with Eric. You can rent a transmitter if the job calls for one. Look into your rig options, start with a good base and work your way into accessories... Just my .2cents B) Congrats on the upgrades, its always exciting to get new gear!!!

Hey Luke welcome to the forum. Take a Steadicam training course before you go out and buy a rig. You may think the idea is awesome until you take a course. Its a BIG investment and its not for everybody... Save some money take a course, if you still think its a good idea after the training start looking into buying/renting a rig and landing some gigs. B)

I agree with Rob that plate is pretty nifty when it comes to powering things. Good to have.

Hey Guys there is a pretty good deal on ebay for im2950 case from a seller. Click Me I myself picked up a couple for 100 bucks apiece. Came in this week and are in great shape! Just wanted to share the info for anybody looking for new cases or extras :)

I agree with David. AB mounts are much more secure, and there customer service is awesome to work with. Atleast in my experiences :)

Yeah i saw that... Saw the Steadicam Op a couple times throughout the night, not necessarily his fault. Seemed like the Directors in many cases. Have respect for all of them, imagine its a tough show with alot happening.

Through the emails i think they are. Bummed i didn't purchase it sooner! So i bought there right angle focus motor system, and the new g-focus system from Erik. Cost about 300 more but happy to support a fellow steadicam op!

This is no good! Dear Caleb, Thank you for your email. As of January 1, 2011 Stanton Video no longer produces the Zoom/Focus System for Steadicam.
