  1. thank you very much for your attention, the guys from easy steady has done a good offer to me , and i'm considering the importance to have assistance and direct contact with the manufacturer here in italy... so now is even more difficult to choose thank you stefano for your suggestion about smart system, but now i'm focused more on the easysteady
  2. hi! this is my first post here! and sorry for my not perfect english! i was interested in buying a steadicam pilot, which for me seems to be a perfect rig, with all the features of a pro, big rig, but for light cameras and in a small package. A good rig to begin with and learning about steadicam technique and operation. but searching a bit i've found that several users have some vibration issues with this rig! http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12225 http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12675 http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/stabilizers-steadicam-etc/144903-dark-hallway-shot.html this really put a sort of fear in me in purchasing one... it will be really a nightmare for me if it will occur to me, after saving for purchasing a real "steadicam" system, discover this it will be extremely frustrating. Aside from this, i've read a lot good reviews... so, Does this problems occurs only for some operator faults or it can be that there are some a bit faulty units around? it's strange because it seems that the "stomp" test doesn't regard balancing issues or something that the operator can fault , and all has said that they've controlled and thigten all the screws of their rigs... it's strange For what i will do , working with light cameras, I will prefear the steadicam pilot design, because it seems easier, lighter - less bulky, with merlin weights possibilities, and more tool-less, but in the end now i'm considering buying an easysteady kit one ( http://www.easysteady.com/easysteady/kit_one.html ) wich comes for quite the same price ( a bit more) , and the possibility to upgrade it for carrying 8 kg in future (but the upgrade to the kit too is quiete expensive) . thank you all! Enrico
