  2. Hello All. I need to buy more stuff and need to sell my great backup arm to do so. I just had it fully serviced by Robert Luna two weeks ago. So, it is in top notch condition. Mr. Luna completely stripped it down, retuned it, replaced damaged parts, including some of the arm housings, repainted the markers, and more. This includes the arm, the socket block, and an arm post. He tuned it to 30-63 lb weight range. This service alone was over $1400. I am asking $6500 USD and would prefer to ship in the states. I would consider overseas shipping, but for a higher price to deal with the hassle.

  9. the folks over at PRO have been busy for the last 18 months and this is one of the results. If you are considering buying a rig or upgrading you have to give this package SERIOUS consideration Pro Suit Atlas Arm with 2 grey and 2 black cartridges Complete Sled with the Gen 4 battery base, DB2 and preston mount, Gimbal with quick release clamp. $34,200 for the package! (monitor and batteries not included) This is a FULLY modular system, it grows with you, you don't need to go out and buy a new sled when you upgrade like other "Systems" When you need more arm capacity you buy the Titan chassis and two blues and you are good to go. If you would like to see this package come to Cinegear (5/31-6/1) Booth 114 on Brooklyn street It's a nice big booth with plenty of room for you to fly the new package. Pro will also be at the stabilizergear expo (6/2)
  10. Hi fellow operators I am looking for a new rig to invest in and I have looked into a few for sale. And now on the marketplace there is not so much for sale so if someone have anything for sale or have thoughts of selling please tell me, I have no experience of pro or mk-v and I'm a bit curious in those I work mainly with film so it need to be able to take heavy cameras If its a complete package with vest and arm or just sled it doesn't matter Cheers
  11. Looking to purchase a Steadicam flyer arm or perhaps the arm and vest combo if you don't want to sell it separately. My budget for this is $1500. Thanks
  12. Fellow ops, I'm selling my back up arm. It's a Glidecam Gold Series Arm. It has been modified by Glidecam with stronger springs. It easely lifts 65 lbs. The arm has it's fair wear and tear but works just fine. Selling it for USD 4800.- plus shipping. The arm is located in Switzerland. Thanks. Lukas
  13. So, I recently got a Pilot, and as I'm getting used to operating it, I finally figured out why it was putting a lot of strain on my lower back muscles. I have a somewhat protruding but muscular upper abdomen combined with a sunken chest, which puts the vest center bar and arm mount at a backwards angle when I stand with the rig weight balanced over my center of gravity. Standing so the lower pivot point is perpendicular to the ground and the arm swings freely involves leaning forward, which involves a bit of back strain. So, is there a kit or something available to make the fore/aft arm mount angle more adjustable than the small amount afforded in the thumbscrews in the mount itself? I'd like to figure out how to use this thing for longer periods without worrying about muscle exhaustion.
  14. Looking for a full rig (arm, vest and sled) for 10-12k, large enough to fly an Alexa, for example. Thanks!
  15. I have two arm posts that will work on Ultra Arms & G70 arms. It's got the helical groove that works with the Ultra arm quick release feature... but this will not prevent it from working on G70 arms. I use them on G70 arms with no issues. These are in great condition. Tiffen sells 12" arms posts for $190 each, I'll take $95 each plus shipping.
  16. I am selling my Ultra/Masters Arm that came with my Ultra Package when I bought it from Tiffen in 2004. I have recently had major work done to it - All by Robert Luna. It has had a complete over haul: All New Bearings, New Cables, 2 new Elbow Brackets (Luna design - much sturdier than originals) and new set of Eye bolts (all this work done in the last 2-3 months) and a New Luna Titanium Socket block adapter (new 2 years ago) its not the tools free version, but it wont break like my tools free did either. Cosmetically I'd say she's maybe a 8.5 or 9. Includes: - three arm Posts - a 6", 10", 15", a tool operated post ring, a tool-less post ring - Rain Cover set - Arm Bag Asking $9500 Tom Schnaidt TJS10@mac.com 917-208-5644 Arm is currently in Los Angeles. Pictures will post over the weekend...
