  1. Selling Sachtler Act2 Vest - it's in superb condition. Super comfortable and easily adjustable, I've just decided the exovest is a better fit for me. Comes with an additional larger back pad section and a carrying bag. Asking $3250 obo, includes free shipping within the US. Cheers!
  2. SALE PENDING For sale is an Arri Artemis / Trinity system. This is a full system to either use it as a regular steadicam sled or a trinity. Please note that for the regular sled you will need to get a monitor bracket and monitor (I am currently using a transvideo monitor and camjam bracket and I am keeping those). You also need a monitor for the Trinity. I am currently using a SmallHD 503 high bright – but you can also use the Transvideo 5” Starlite. The system is about 18 months old and was purchased new from Arri in Blauvelt, New York. It was regularly serviced and is in perfect working condition. Artemis Sled is in very good condition with one very minor scratch on top stage and some inevitable superficial scratches on the gimbal cap where you dock. Trinity head has seen little use and is in mint condition. The battery plates have been customized with cheese plates to accommodate accessories such as wireless video etc. Included are: - Artemis Cine Broadcast 1.8'' sled / AB batteries - 3rd AB Plate (under post) - artemis Camera Plate 8'' - artemis Post Tool 1.8'' / 1.5'' - post extension - rain cover for bottom hanger - 2 x docking / balancing bracket - Trinity head - Trinity joystick & cable - Power cables for bottom stage Trinity - Power cables for regular monitor (lemo 2pin) and Transvideo Starlite 5” - Focus power out > D-tap power splitter x 2 - Alexa Mini Power cable - Fisher Arri 24V Power cable - Amira control cable - extra mounting / accessory plate for Trinity / Artemis rods (pictured gyro is not included) - Tenba storage and transport case for Trinity head I wish I would not have to say this but: No barter, no trades, no discounts, no installments, no financing, no tire kicking, no nonsense. For the inevitable “why are you selling question”: As an equipment owner I buy and sell gear all the time. The Trinity is a brilliant and unique piece of equipment. But I have decided to prioritize other aspects of my work. The system is located and can be inspected just North of New York City. Buyer can pickup or pay for shipping of choice. New Value around $ 62k. Price: US $ 49,500k high rez pictures of all parts / details / accessories are here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uc44w3649inot63/AAAL887oOAfwYhmV83wQ191Ya?dl=0
  3. Arri Trinity Head & Artemis Steadicam Rig, Vest & Tiffen G70 Arm I am selling a brand new Arri Trinity Rig, Arri Vest and Tiffen G70 Arm. The Trinity is a unique, 5-axis hybrid stabilizer that combines classic mechanical stabilization with advanced gimbal technology, TRINITY is the flagship of the ARRI CSS range that allows for revolutionary new ways of operating. TRINITY is the first hybrid camera stabilizer that combines classic mechanical stabilization with advanced active electronic stabilization, provided via 32-bit ARM-based gimbal technology. This combination results in five axes of control and enables uniquely fluid, wide-ranging, and precisely controlled movements for unrestricted shooting and total creative freedom. New angles for the operator and new storytelling options for the director and cinematographer are possible with TRINITY. By inverting the post, the camera can be moved from low mode to high mode during a shot; using the joystick-controlled, fully stabilized tilt axis to look up or down during this motion is also possible, so a low angle can smoothly transition into an over-the-shoulder shot. By holding the post at 45 degrees and twisting it left or right, the camera can even look around corners, whether in low or high mode. Additional stabilization in the roll axis permits the use of telephoto lenses. Extraordinary new shots, angles, and movements are achievable when TRINITY is used in its fully stabilized mode. For situations that call for a more traditional operating style, TRINITY can be switched into a locked mode in which the tilt axis is connected directly to the post in the traditional manner. This system is just a few months old and has only been used a few days. I have taken a long term position on a TV show, but it is not in the style of this show to use something as unique as the Trinity so I won’t have the opportunity to rent it and therefor I need to sell it. This is a complete package. I have the Trinity head and Artemis rig, plus the Artemis Vest and a Tiffen G70 Arm. I am willing to sell the system without the arm and/or vest. I have custom cases for the gear plus many additional accessories and cables. This is a beautiful package and all ready to work. You will love it! I have attached a list of main components. Please contact me to discuss price. If you are interested, please contact me directly via email or my cell. Please do not leave messages here. 9. Hello, I have a problem with this vest. After a shifts with medium to heavy payloads i have bruises on my pelvis bones. I have tried different trousers and so on, but without any improvements. As in my home country we have only two artemis rigs, i have no opportunities to try different vest, last time i tried other vests was on workshop more than a year ago, than i liked the feel of steadicam ultra2 and exovest, but that was workshop and i was not working in it for whole day. Also wearing act2 i think the top front is to loose from my chest, and top back on heavier payloads is to high, even sometimes making small pressures on my neck. Could this be the situation, when this vest is to big for me? thanks for help Some pictures with vest on me. (Don't bother the camera set up)
  10. Hey guys, need advices. I took a workshop in Philly last November. Was my first experience with a steadicam. Really like it. Currently, I'm a first AC / camera operator (starting as). I'm looking to buy my first rig. Got few advices already. - buy used rig for start. I wish i could. Pretty sure I could save a lot of money. Thing is I don't see one that fit me. Probably it would be good to start with something light to start, but I would have to buy better in 1-2 years (less maybe). Light also means I have to refuse job (when I would have more experience, with heavy camera) So. I was looking to buy new. Artemis. They seem so sell good stuff. And not as expensive as Pro or Steadicam. What do you guys thinks? Any good advices…?

  13. Hi all, I am new to the forums and keen to hear feedback from steadicam operators all over on something I produced this summer. I am a beta/product tester for Vitec Videocom and as part of a Kickstarter project I have launched I was lucky enough to have Curt Schaller operate the prototype SMX 20 'Artemis Trinity' on my pitch film. It has been getting some good and bad feedback, all of which I understand, but I wanted to hear from actual operators in the industry. As a DoP I have my issues with the end product that we created but I think it's still a really decent effort given the ambitious one-shot nature of it. The Artemis Trinity has actually now been adapted to iron out the imperfections that are visible on my pitch film, but I'd love to know what others think of the prototype's efforts. Any and all feedback is great, and I will actually pass it on to Sachtler. Please check out the pitch film here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paulcook/magpie Thank you for your time.

  19. I am selling my gently used(18mos of work) Sachtler Artemis Carbon Spring Arm Please contact for pricing. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Spring Arm ACT2 Carbon / 26 kg (57.3 lbs) Replacing the aluminum “bones” of the ACT 2 spring arm with the ultra light, rigid and torsion-free carbon fiber “bones” caused lowers the weight of the arm itself by additional weight reduction of another 500 gr. / 1.10 lbs. The ultra lightweight design enables high-speed operating and longer-lasting takes. The ACT 2 carbon upgrade offers the same technical features as the ACT 2 aluminum spring arm. Carbon is used more and more often in modern aircraft construction, and in the field of racing car construction the use of carbon has been the standard since many years. But our main reason was to further cut down on weight. The carbon version of the spring arm weighs another 500 grams (1.1 lbs) less than the aluminum version. Features: Sachtler ’s new artemis ACT 2 includes a full range of design innovations • Light, torsion-free construction • 3 exchangeable spring sets for loads from 11 to 26 kg / 22.6 to 53.3 lbs. • Extra-easy spring pre-tensioning mechanism • Flip-over mechanism for vest connection (mating block) Compatibility with all vests using the American standard industry connector (socket block) and gimbals with 5/8“ arm post • Adjustable arm post friction • Arm posts available in three lengths (6“, 10“ and 12“) • All adjustments handled with a 4 mm 5/32“ hex key Based on the special experiences of our suppliers, we are able to produce carbon parts in series now. New production methods provide high reliability and safety for the products and replace manual lamination that is a quite unreliable production method. The aluminum arm is already an unbelievably quick and agile arm, but the carbon version is even better. Operators who shoot many sport shows or must walk fast or run while shooting for other reasons will appreciate the arm’s light weight and the fact that it stays in steady position during fast movements.
