Hello Everyone, This is my second time asking advise and opinion at this forum.The first time was very helpful, thanks. I just graduated college and Im moving to the Dallas, TX area for the summer. I have a paid internship at a TV station so hopefully I can just stay there. I purchased the Steadicam Pilot a few months ago and I have used it for a few video productions that I did for school. Also I recently used it for couple video jobs I was hired to do. I do realize that it takes a lot of practice and learning to get better using the steadicam. I like to know if there is some type of group or individuals who are more experienced that live in the area who may be interested on having some help so I can shadow and learn from someone with experience? I am planning on attending one the Tiffen workshops in the near future, Im just saving money for it at the moment. My other questions are about the Steadicam Operators Association. How important it is to be a part of this association? When it would be the best time to join? How much experience it is required to join? If anyone can provide some of this info it would be great.
