  5. You're on the forum so I'm sure you know what the Pilot is about but If you’re thinking of getting into Steadicam this is a great place to start. This Rig is perfect for DSLR's and C300's. I've used it for about a year and have nothing but good things to say about it. I'm also including a HD to SD converter to allow you to run a hdmi feed to the monitor. it has been well looked after, always stored in its case and not been damaged or dropped. It's pretty much as new. I'm selling due to upgrading to a bigger rig. If you would like to see more pics, have any questions or if you'd like to tale a look please get in touch. youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2shQVbvVwQ - (please note different battery setup) It offers: Frictionless, Silky-Smooth Iso-Elastic Performance Huge 28" Lifting Range One-Touch Lift-Adjustment for each section Lightweight Design 5.8" LCD Color Monitor CarbonLite Expandable Center Post New Arm / Vest Interface System X-Y Vernier Adjustment of Stage Plate Operates in Standard and Low modes Professional tool-free 3-axis gimbal £2,000
  6. STEADICAM FLYER LE FOR SALE - LONDON, UK £3700 + VAT I really can't justify owning two rigs (heavyweight and lightweight) at the moment so this one is up for sale. It is being sold as it was delivered when new, but with custom built focus unit mount included. Does not include batteries. V-Locks required. Kit includes: Vest Flyer LE arm in soft bag Post and gimbal Dovetail plate Stand Docking bracket Monitor (small dead area - very cheap to replace) 3 pin Lemo to XLR cable Allen key for gimbal Original soft case Home made monitor shade (don't get too excited - it's not fancy - but it does work well!!!) Custom built bracket to hold Preston brain. The rig has recently been serviced by Optical Support. Please contact them for confirmation, if required. It is in good condition. There are the usual scuffs that rigs get on the arm etc but nothing performance affecting. As mentioned the monitor has a small dead area on it. I can replace this or knock £200 off the price if you would prefer to replace it yourself. This may be a better option as you can choose one that may suit your purposes better. Send me a message if you're interested.
  7. I'm trying to find a good engineer in the London area who will be able to put some designs together for me. Anyone have any good recommendations? Steadicam knowledge and understanding would be necessary. Thanks.
  8. Hi guys, hope I am posting in the right place. We are shooting a music video in mid February (14th) in London and are looking for a Steadycam op. We will be using a SONY FS700 with either Zeiss Compact primes or a set of good primes TBC. I am posting the job here as I we are keen to work with someone coming up the ranks and/or starting out and willing to gain experience. Don't get me wrong, it's a fully paid job, but we can't unfortunately afford the higher end of the spectrum. If you are interested, please email your showreel and rate to pedro@madebyautobahn.com Many thanks, Pedro www.madebyautobahn.com
