  1. Hi Everyone, I'm selling my Rainbow 7" monitor, like new conditions, it's a very good monitor, not the SBL model, but it's very good for every application. It's really in excellent working and aesthetic conditions, really like new. it comes with a transvideo PAG original V-lock battery plate (340 euro optional). The new price is 1700 Euro plus VAT for monitor and 280 Euro plus VAT for battery plate, I'm selling the hole package for 1200 Euro plus shipping costs.

The newest in love with the world of steadicam

Hi guys, First of all I would like to thank you for accepting me in this group. I am very happy to be part of this great family of Steadicam lovers. So, let me introduce myself. My name's Emidio, I'm originally from Brazil but actually I live in Dublin since 2015. Since I started in this area I always dreamed and wanted to be a steadicam operator. I had the honor of working and seeing some masters of this art closely, which only increased my desire to one day become like them. I already work as a camera operator but I always wanted to learn about steadicam. Like every beginner, I have several doubts about the world of Steadicam. Some of them I was able to clarify by reading some topics in this forum. if you could give me some honest advice, what would it be? How to start? How to stand out? How do you manage to steady yourself as a steadicam operator in such a competitive market? I'm very excited to dive headlong into this world of steadicam. Every day I read something about, I watch something about Steadi. I'm pretty excited! I hope next year to be able to participate in a tiffen workshop so that I can take the first steps towards achieving this dream. I will be very grateful to anyone who can contribute to my work. Thank you guys! Let's fly! Emidio

  6. I have an essentially unused Steadicam Scout kit available. It was used on a small job once. We subsequently ended up with a different solution due to the learning curve of the Steadicam. My loss is your gain. As you can see from the photos it is in almost new condition. I have tested the monitor and it is fully functional. I am also including a Steadicam operator book. I have lots of feedback on fredmiranda.com under my own name, and on ebay as imagexchangephotography It will be packed in its case and a large box for shipping I am asking US $3999.00 Shipped. PM me for any questions

  8. Hi Everyone, For those of you who came to CineGear this past weekend, I hope you had a chance to stop by and see the new XCELL batteries that Anton/Bauer was showing. These new batteries will come in 90wh, 150wh and 190wh and will be available sometime around September/October. As always, they are fully backwards compatible with any charger that you have that charges the DIONIC series of batteries. A chip upgrade may be necessary, but not a whole new charger! The XCELL batteries are made of carbon fiber and will only come in one physical size. Because we stack the cells differently internally, we are able to use the same exact footprint for a 90, 150 or 190wh battery, with only a slight variance in weight. List price will be somewhere between USD$450.00 and $499.00. Stay tuned for more information.... Paul D
  9. I've been opperating since Collage with a rig that has not made "getting the shot" easy. The vest rotates and pulls, the arm is not very articulate and far from isoelastic and the sled, well it's there. It's all I had money for but I've always loved moving cameras and Steadicam is my passion and path in life so I made due with what I had and as a result I was the "go-to Opperator". I'm trying to change all that and break into the professional world so I dug deep in my thin pockets and bought a used rig to hold the heavier cameras (with accesories attached) and mount the camera properly on my back. Here is my current reel which was hard to make because some of the pieces are SD and there's not as much Narrative in there as I wish because of the lack I've gotten back from the "no-budget" productions I've worked on. Please rip it apart and give me tips of the trade, I'm ready to take this thing professional and want to make a name for myself. Thanks a million, happy flying.
