  1. I'm selling my Sachtler Artemis Cine HD sled, flowcine xspine vest, g70x arm, and teredek pro600 . It's almost a complete steadicam package except batteries, everything you need to walk on set. Everything is well taken care of and in good condition. The package includes 1) Sachtler Artemis Cine HD Sled set - Sled (V-MOUNT), Transvideo Rainbow HD7 Monitor, Cables, SKB Hard case 2) Flowcine Xspine with Xbone (back mount) and front mount. This vest is almost brand new, only used it for a couple of times. Bought for the front mount & back mount options, but not the right vest for me. Comes with lots of extras: replacement latches, soft bag, different foam density options, vest t handle wrenches. 3) G70X Arm & Sachtler soft carry case 4) Teredek bolt pro 600 set - TR & TX Selling the whole package for USD$36000 excluding shipping, bank transfer charges & taxes. Interested please kindly PM me to discuss.
  2. Hi all! I'm looking for opinions on the Smart System Matrix Sled and the Arm X1. I tried it myself at BSC a few months ago. I was very impressed by the arm but not so sure on the sled. Have any more experienced operators than myself tried the sled, if so what did you think? The price tag is really tempting, it would certainly be an upgrade from my aero 30 rig. Any thoughts would be much appreciated, cheers!
  3. Unfortunately work is taking a different direction for me since a leg injury, so I have to move on from this. A very complete kit that has everything you need to go to set. Has everything you need to be ready on set, with lots of backups. GPI PRO Cine Live package. Loaded GPI PRO Sled, Betz top stage, Atlas arm with two grey canisters, Pro Vest, Two Small HD monitors, Four B4B 230w Gold Mount batteries and two chargers, Two XCS camera plates, XCS Extendible Mid Arm Swivel, Three GPI PRO docking brackets, Walter Klassen Vehicle Mount, Backstage Vehicle Mount, backstage Steadicam cart, low mode bracket, Three Pelican cases (2X1730 & 1X1650) {Foam laser cut by Pelican}, power cables for Red, Mini, Venice, Alexa and more. Based in LA and looking to sell local. Looking for $35,000 OBO
  4. Hi Guys! After working with some gimbals (Ronin 1 & 2, as well as the RS2) and other stabilisation systems such as ready rig, I recently got myself a Steadicam package, consisting of a Zephyr Vest, the A30 arm as well as the Steadicam Steadimate (for the Ronin’s). Although this works well, I nevertheless wanted to assemble some sort of the “poor man’s Trinity” and got a sled as well. Unfortunately, I decided to not go with the Aero Sled, because I was a bit shocked about its price when purchased solo (roundabout 3K USD here in my central European home) – compared to the very attractive package prices (my complete 3-part package was cheaper than the Aero sled alone). Anyways, so I bought a sled from another brand and quality-wise I am satisfied so far, but as a complete Steadicam-newbie, I am struggling – not a big surprise you might say - with a very basic challenge. As you might know, the A 30 arm has a ½ - do you call it pin? – which shall settle the sled, but my sled (differently to the Steadymate) has a 5/8 hole on its (arm)end, which I thought can`t be the biggest problem, but it is… I can`t find any adapter which has on its one end a ½ hole and on the other end a 5/8 pin anywhere in the net. Without it I am not even able to give the system a first try. For security reasons I checked with a “baby-pin” from a light stand and yes, exactly this pin size would be needed to hook up the sled. So now my question is: does anybody here can help me with a link to such an adapter please?
  5. Hi gang, Following an Upgrade to an M2 I am now selling my trusty Tiffen Clipper 2 sled. I bought this sled when I first started out in 2014 and it has served me very well on my journey from local short film shoots to working on TV and feature productions. It is basically an Ultra 1 with an Archer tilting top stage and can support full size cameras such as Alexa and Arri LT 35mm. It has had an HD-SDI line added and also has a custom 12/24 volt power system added by Optical Support in London where it has been serviced so is ready to work with modern film and digital cinema cameras. Moving forward, if/when you feel the need you can directly replace the gimbal with a 1.58" M2 Volt gimbal by removing the top stage which I can show you how to do. The sled comes with dovetails and power cables (see below), low mode monitor mount, main monitor post clamp and Tiffen hardcase. It does not have a monitor, rods or yoke as I am using those with my new sled but I could be persuaded to part with my spare monitor and yoke which is compatible if you don't want to source one yourself. It also doesn't come with docking rings or bracket as I'm using these with my new sled too. Included Dovetails: Original Tiffen dovetail Cam-Tec camera dovetail with 15mm rod attachments Cam-Tec V-lock dovetail allowing direct, vibration free, quick release attachment of cameras with sony VCT style bases such as full size Alexa Included Cables: Top stage lemo to 12v 4pin XLR Top stage lemo to 12v Alexa Mini / Amira Top stage lemo to 24v Alexa 2 pin Fischer Top stage lemo to female D-TAP D-TAP to 12v 4 pin XLR ( monitor direct power) D-TAP to 4pin Lemo ( RED DSMC power ) 4 pin Hirose to 12x 4pin XLR ( base to monitor power) 4 pin Hirose to 12x 4pin right angle XLR ( base to monitor power) 6 pin Hirose to 12v 4pin right angle XLR and BNC ( combined base to monitor power and composite video ) This is a fantastic first rig or if you're stepping up from something smaller! Asking £7k, I'm not VAT registered yet so won't need to add that. Would prefer a UK buyer so don't have to deal with all the customs/exporting fun but happy to make ready for shipping at buyer's arrangement. I'm based in London and you are more than welcome to come to see and test fly the rig, I have a complete setup with practice camera etc. If you would like to see some action photos to whet your appetite here a few from my IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/CS4HxEwizqr https://www.instagram.com/p/CKNEQBqhJkF https://www.instagram.com/p/CIqeR_FhUXe https://www.instagram.com/p/BpEkRFRHJRo https://www.instagram.com/p/COFqqDXBTch Any questions please drop me a line on rupert.peddle@gmail.com. Thanks for looking! Rupert

  7. Hello, So today I am selling my very dear-to-me PRO I sled, which has been modified (by Terry West, I believe) to be a very excellent and affordable sled for anyone who is looking to get into Steadicam and purchase their first "big rig" setup. This sled was used by me for 2+ years and by another Forum member. You can fly anything from REDs to 435's with this baby. I upgraded the gimbal to a PRO VZ with a short handle (previously owned by a renowned PRO tech, and previously previously by some former Industry big wigs), which has made a tremendous difference in performance. Here are the details: • GPI PRO I Telescoping Post (Only 1 Hill Gorelock Docking Ring is shown in photo, but should include 2x for high- and low-mode docking) • PRO I HD-Upgraded Electronics (HD-Converted) • PRO DB II Top Stage w/ Diving Board MDR Attachment • Extra screws/AKS • GPI PRO VZ Gimbal Grip w/ Short Handle • Custom Bottom Stage (12/24V Compatible) w/ 3x Gold Mount Battery Mounts • XCS Monitor Bracket/Rods w/ Cam-Jam 1.5" Spacers (MONITOR AND YOKE ARE NOT INCLUDED UNLESS DESIRED (we'll discuss) • Pelican 1615 Air Case (I may have extra cables, and a plate, however, just reach out to me and we'll see what we can work out. I have connections to a few different professional cable manufacturers if needed) Photos of the rig below, plus one of it in play. Looking to get somewhere in the realm of $10,500, but offer up. If interested please DM me, or reach out to me at lorenpaulhamilton@gmail.com or call/text (805) 320-1845 Thanks for looking!

  9. Hello, I own a Steadicam Aero 15 (arm & vest) and I was interested in buying a Steadicam Aero sled: https://tiffen.com/products/steadicam-aero-sled-with-7-monitor. As per Tiffen specification, the Aero 15 arm is supposed to support up to 15 lbs total payload (including everything past the arm). Form this link (https://tiffen.com/pages/steadicam-aero) it says that the Aero sled weights 9.75 lbs (with monitor & battery mount, without battery). This means that the room left for camera and battery is 5.25 lbs. This does not match with the fact that the Aero 15 system can support up to 10 lbs camera payload. Is there in the forum any owner of the Aero system who can tell me how much the Aero sled actually weights? Is it actually 9.75 lbs or less? Many thanks, Simone

  17. Hello, I am a newbie in the world of steadicam, took a workshop last year, and planning to get rig by this year end. I would like to have your opinions on Smartsystem package which as Vest Lite, Armx1 and Extreme sled. I have seen a lot of operators using ArmX1 and few of them using Extreme sled with all of them very happy with it. I haven't tried these, also I don't see a chance to try this anytime before 2021 in expo.
  18. Selling a Glidcam X45 sled with Camjam Quattro monitor bracket with SmallHD 702 monitor. Comes with extra dovetail plate and extra cords and accessories. In great condition, just upgrading. Solid, yet simple rig that will hold heavy payloads easily. Flown well with me. You'll see there is a small chip in the gimbal handle's socket. Doesn't effect the operation, and it will ship with 2 extra sockets to replace it. I never got around changing it as it works fine for me, but you have the option to get that replaced as I'm sending it with 2 replacement parts. Also, the monitor has a 1 stuck green pixel, as you can see from the pic. Not that big of a deal for me, as well. Still got the job done. Sled Brand new $5995, CamJam Quattro Monitor bracket new $1430, SmallHD 702 $800 GRAND TOTAL $8225 SALE PRICE $5500.00

  22. Questions concerning the Tiffen M2. I will be upgrading to a Tiffen sled latter this year, and have (had) my sights set on an M1. Now here is the M2. The M2 really interests me. I have read all the literature I can find on it which other than the Tiffen page isn’t much. As it is newer. I like the modularity of its design as well, and know it’s less expensive than an M1. I have read a bit on the forum, stating that it doesn’t cary the same payload as the M1. My work tends to be on features with larger builds. Example, I just finished a show with the Arri LF. Where I flew it for several months. So I suppose my question is, can the M2 fly an LF type camera? And if so can it do it comfortably. Or should I just put my thoughts about the M2 aside and stay focused on the M1. Any advice or thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  25. Hey folks! I just picked up a Steadicam Master sled / vest / arm package and I'm already seeing / feeling a lot of the limitations to the sled itself. I don't like the lack of HD, the monitor mount is permanently loose, and the proprietary batteries will probably prove to be a headache in the future as well. So I'm looking into modifying the sled. Cramped Attic quoted me about $2500 for the battery and HDSDI upgrades, and recommended that I handle the monitor bracket locally. However, I'd like to shop around so I fully know my options. I know Mk V has Master sled upgrades, and I'm looking into that. However, they're in the UK, and I'd like to avoid incurring those kinds of shipping fees. I wanted to tap the community and see if anyone else knew places (preferably local to NYC, but not necessarily) where I could get mods done on my Master Sled. Any input and leads would be greatly appreciated!
