G-70 for sale. In a very good shape. Went on a little trip to Steadicam London last winter. If I have a master series post can I remove/cut off the bottom electronics and clamp on or add-on a new bottom with new electronics? To upgrade it to HD. Along with new top box. Or is there an easier way to do this.

Hey everyone, so I'm looking to upgrade my vest to a GPI Pro vest, and I'm looking to sell my Ultra 2 vest and make this a quick exchange. I've personally owned the vest for four years now after I purchased it used. It has the normal wear and tear you would expect. The only real issue is the right shoulder buckle locking screw broke off so you would need to re-drill it and get another screw from Tiffen (hence the bongo tie). But that's nothing that effects the functionality of the vest. Also, the top of the shoulder pads have been shaved down a bit in an attempt to make it fit my shoulders better. If you're concerned at all concerned about it, and are in LA, you're more than welcome to try it on first. $3,300 OBO, buyer pays shipping. I'm selling my Steadicam Archer 1 kit (I bought it off James Davies via this forum a little under two years ago). I’ve been using this rig for two years now, its handled everything from c300’s to Alexa builds and I’ve really loved it - I am selling due to upgrading to a bigger rig. The rig is based in London. This is a really well looked after setup with many modifications for HD use. The arm has had an X-upgrade with Tiffen USA and works beautifully. You won’t need to service or invest any extra money in to this kit for some time. Ready to go with many accessories. This is a fantastic Steadicam Archer kit. The reputable Optical Support and Tiffen International have carried out all modifications and services since new and it had been serviced regularly. ASKING PRICE: £10,500 (O.I.R.O) No Vat. SLED: Steadicam Archer Sled serviced regularly and exclusively by Optical Support London, all modifications carried out by Optical Support London. Modifications as follows: • HD BNC connections fitted top and bottom to replace standard HD Lemo connectors feeding into the HD line within the post. • SWIT 8.4 inch HD monitor with V-lock battery plate and fitted with custom monitor yoke. • Top-stage nose replaced with Preston MDR mount plus adaptor that converts the MDR mount to a flat-mounting plate. A 3/8th captive screw included allowing you to mount alternative LCS receivers such as the Preston single-channel receiver also. • Machined top-stage lever to allow superior clamping and a more solid locking mechanism than the standard lever offered. • Tapered bayonet “Pro-style” bung fitted inside the locking mechanism of the folding lower section. This stiffens up the whole lower assembly of the sled and provides a more positive connection than standard and allows the two sections to actually be mated together as well as being clamped down by a threaded lock-ring. ARM: G50 with X-upgrade from Tiffen USA. This is basically a G50X arm now. The upgrade included the replacement with all new mechanisms and bearings throughout the arm I also had the arm serviced about two months ago. Rain Cover included. VEST: Standard LX Vest, no modifications, good condition. Hi chaps, My Ultra 1 is up for sale. I'll be sad to see this one go - it has been my one and only rig for two years, and has never let me down. As you might expect there are some minor cosmetic marks in places like the arm covers or the vest's fabrics, but functionally everything is rock solid and flies smooth as butter. 24V or 12V power comes from V-Locks (not included), which means you can power any camera from the top-stage (cables for Alexa or XLR4 included, amongst others), and the HD-SDI cable I slipped and secured down the post in the beginning has never failed. I'm throwing in a venerable Transvideo Rainbow (SD) monitor, but you'll certainly want to make use of that HD cable at some point! The tilt-stage (un-motorised) and four-stage post are frequently useful features which I'll miss in my next sled, and the tool-free Master/Ultra arm will be difficult to top, honestly. dear friends, I've a Pilot to sell, it's in good conditions, I used it on 4 theater stages... It comes with the original bag and with a very robust flycase tailored on the steadicam and accessories... The basic concept of case is that it is really sturdy, solid and handy, it is designed to leave your camera attached on the quick release plate, it has 2 wheels on a side and handles on 3 sides so you can also move the case as trolley. I can Mount for you a Manfrotto or Cartoni quick release plate. Now a Cartoni is mounted. The steady is located in Verona (North Italy - Europe) I can send it everywhere... and if you come here good Italian food and wine (Amarone) are provided of course... price is 2.500 Euro shipping excluded... :-) Here are the photos

Has anyone operated with or own a GH4? I am considering purchasing Pilot SD system. I am unsure how to connect GH4 to monitor? I know, all the typical dslr headaches, lol. I am brand new to this forum but am serious about operating. Should I buy SD rig and use an HD monitor? Then buy an hdmi - sdi converter box? Can you connect sdi in (BNC) to composite? Also, the GH4 camera has NTSC, PAL, and a 24 Hz "Cinema" frequency, through which is the only frequency capable of Cinematic 4K. According to the gh4 manual, when system frequency is set to 24 Hz (which mine is all the time) playback on a composite monitor is impossible? I would love to be informed about how to properly connect a DSLR to a SD monitor or HD monitor
