Sled is used and in good operating condition. This sled was just fully serviced at Tiffen (it literally came back today). Ultra 2c sled Tilt stage Motorized top stage Ultra Highbright Monitor with built-in level (panel was completely replaced at Tiffen about 2 years ago). Accessories: - Hill docking bracket - 2 x plates (two long, one short) - bunch of power cables to camera (among them arri alexa & 12V 4 pin XLR) 2 x monitor power / SD cable - gimbal remote charging cable - thermodyne transport case (one latch is broken – thanks Delta) Sled is currently cabled for dual 12V and hot swap (can easily be changed to 24V / 12V) The monitor post clamp was re-inforced with a weld to prevent vibrations The monitor rod clamp was replaced for a better titanium alternative (original kept breaking). This is a very fine sled with all the bells and whistles. Selling because I just dropped $60k on a Trinity rig. Sled can be checked out in New York. Hey everyone, I have my Tiffen Ultra 2 Vest up for sale. I've personally owned the vest for four years now after I purchased it used. It has the normal wear and tear you would expect. The back lumbar pad has some velcro that's worn out but I will have that replaced by the time the vest ships out. I have the original thicker pads for the shoulders and the new thinner pads as well. Hello, I'm selling my SD Tiffen Steadicam Pilot. I bought this as my first rig and I am the second owner. It is in really great condition and comes in the original kit as Tiffen sold it. The only thing broken is the original stand. I got the stand repaired by Tiffen until they no longer carried the pieces to fix it. The clamping mechanism on the riser post on the stand is broken. I can send more detailed photos if you desire. The rig is perfect for dslrs or camera weighing in the 5 - 10 lb range. Hey folks, I was hoping the wider community could help me with a problem I had on a short at the weekend. I prepped a job on Friday, Ultra 2 sled, Ultrabrite2 monitor and an Alexa, it was an older Alexa with max internal recording capacity of ProRes 4444HD. The image on the UB2 was perfect during prep no problems. Mon out - sled - UB2 - all good. The cameraman wanted to record higher resolution via an external recorder/monitor - Odyssey 7Q. This all seemed fine, he just needed to buy a license from Convergent-Design to allow him to access this. All that was required from the camera was a single BnC (Rec Out) to the recorder and this would achieve 2.8K image recorded on the Odyssey's SSD. However I didn't get the chance to test the camera again until we were on set the next morning. With the same cable configuration as in prep my image on the UB2 was now distorted, horizontal split screen two thirds up the screen, jittery/ staggered image. I am not a tech wizard but I imagine the problem had something to do with the external recorder being up-resed, affecting the Mon Out port. Has anyone experienced anything like this in the past? Or does anyone know of or can suggest a way around it? I have emailed Tiffen with this query and with the same questions. However any suggestions would be welcomed. Many thanks, Greg

G-70 for sale. In a very good shape. Went on a little trip to Steadicam London last winter. If I have a master series post can I remove/cut off the bottom electronics and clamp on or add-on a new bottom with new electronics? To upgrade it to HD. Along with new top box. Or is there an easier way to do this.

Hey everyone, so I'm looking to upgrade my vest to a GPI Pro vest, and I'm looking to sell my Ultra 2 vest and make this a quick exchange. I've personally owned the vest for four years now after I purchased it used. It has the normal wear and tear you would expect. The only real issue is the right shoulder buckle locking screw broke off so you would need to re-drill it and get another screw from Tiffen (hence the bongo tie). But that's nothing that effects the functionality of the vest. Also, the top of the shoulder pads have been shaved down a bit in an attempt to make it fit my shoulders better. If you're concerned at all concerned about it, and are in LA, you're more than welcome to try it on first. $3,300 OBO, buyer pays shipping. I'm selling my Steadicam Archer 1 kit (I bought it off James Davies via this forum a little under two years ago). I’ve been using this rig for two years now, its handled everything from c300’s to Alexa builds and I’ve really loved it - I am selling due to upgrading to a bigger rig. The rig is based in London. This is a really well looked after setup with many modifications for HD use. The arm has had an X-upgrade with Tiffen USA and works beautifully. You won’t need to service or invest any extra money in to this kit for some time. Ready to go with many accessories. This is a fantastic Steadicam Archer kit. The reputable Optical Support and Tiffen International have carried out all modifications and services since new and it had been serviced regularly. ASKING PRICE: £10,500 (O.I.R.O) No Vat. SLED: Steadicam Archer Sled serviced regularly and exclusively by Optical Support London, all modifications carried out by Optical Support London. Modifications as follows: • HD BNC connections fitted top and bottom to replace standard HD Lemo connectors feeding into the HD line within the post. • SWIT 8.4 inch HD monitor with V-lock battery plate and fitted with custom monitor yoke. • Top-stage nose replaced with Preston MDR mount plus adaptor that converts the MDR mount to a flat-mounting plate. A 3/8th captive screw included allowing you to mount alternative LCS receivers such as the Preston single-channel receiver also. • Machined top-stage lever to allow superior clamping and a more solid locking mechanism than the standard lever offered. • Tapered bayonet “Pro-style” bung fitted inside the locking mechanism of the folding lower section. This stiffens up the whole lower assembly of the sled and provides a more positive connection than standard and allows the two sections to actually be mated together as well as being clamped down by a threaded lock-ring. Hi chaps, My Ultra 1 is up for sale. I'll be sad to see this one go - it has been my one and only rig for two years, and has never let me down. As you might expect there are some minor cosmetic marks in places like the arm covers or the vest's fabrics, but functionally everything is rock solid and flies smooth as butter. 24V or 12V power comes from V-Locks (not included), which means you can power any camera from the top-stage (cables for Alexa or XLR4 included, amongst others), and the HD-SDI cable I slipped and secured down the post in the beginning has never failed. I'm throwing in a venerable Transvideo Rainbow (SD) monitor, but you'll certainly want to make use of that HD cable at some point! The tilt-stage (un-motorised) and four-stage post are frequently useful features which I'll miss in my next sled, and the tool-free Master/Ultra arm will be difficult to top, honestly.
