  1. Hi all, I've been testing my gimbal and after several tests I can't make the video vibrations to go away. They are not very important vibrations but they are very annoying. I would like to know how I can make them disappear. Here I show you some photos and a flying footage to see it clear: https://youtu.be/RyEFSgg1O5c SETUP: Arris Zhao Yun Pro gimbal, Sony a6000 camera, Tarot X6 frame, Pixhawk controller, DJI E1200 motors, Tattu 12.000mah battery. Thanks!
  2. Hello folks, I am going to be flying a Sony Venice for a project coming up and I was wondering if anyone has ever flown that camera and if there is anything I should be aware of? As far as I know it will be with cinema glass, mb, ff, and that's about it. I will be using a Zephyr, any concerns about the payload? Thanks in advance.
  3. Great Looking Image. In Excellent Condition. Sony DVF-L700 7” Viewfinder / Monitor. 1100 Nits 1920 x 1080 Supports 4K Plus Power Cables Paid: $4140.00 USD Priced at: $1750.00 USD Shipping not included. Please text or call… 760-505-7011. Thank you.
  4. Hi folks. Finally got around to making another run of the Silveratray. It replaces the finder on most every broadcast Sony or Panasonic camera ( WILL NOT WORK ON IKEGAMI OR GRASS VALLEY) This quick bracket allows you to slide it onto the dovetail in front of the handle and you can use it for many things. Attach a prompter monitor to it with the included MSE 1/4-20 bolt. or add a piece of velcro to the plate and put whatever you want on there, Audio receivers, MDR, you name it. I added 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes to the top of the clamp. Aluminum, Anodized, 100% made in South Florida. $160 shipped anywhere in the Continental US via USPS. Also have a few Zoom Risers available. These will sit on your gimbal handle and raises your Zoe Bebob Zoom control, also prevents marring. I've used my prototype for 10 years on live shows. Aluminum, Anodized, 100% made in South Florida $60 shipped anywhere in the Continental US via USPS.
  5. Hi Everyone, This is our first post on Steadicam Forum. We are a rental house with offices in both Portland and Seattle. I was wondering where else people are renting gear when they come to shoot in the Pacific NW. Do you usually find owner/operators, bring in gear from out of town or rent locally? Wondering what we can do to spread the word that we are here and have a large inventory of gear for rental. For more information on us, visit Koernercamera.com

  7. Hi Folks, I own a Sony Ax100 and just bought a Merlin Steadicam 2. I cannot find the balance settings listed on the Merlin 'cookbook' and was wondering if anybody had any hands on experience w/ Merlin with the cam I own? Or perhaps you can recommend a similar camera that is listed in the cookbook that I can base the initial balance settings on? Many thanks, Matt.

  13. i got a couple of V-Mount style Sony dovetail plates for broadcast cameras. they are really great when trying to keep the rig light. You save about 2-3lbs compared with the regular v-lock plates and also they are a way more solid connection to the camera than regular plates! no vibrations or shaking or flex at all! you can use them directly as a dovetail on your top stage (modifications for efp style topstages are also available) and they come with 15mm focus rods for direct attachement. here is the official link: http://shop.strato.d... V-mount Plate" (attention, the plates which are sold here are slightly different in construction (see pictures)) the regular price is 725,90 Euro (including 19% VAT). sold here for 250 Euro (including 19% VAT) located in Dortmund, Germany pm or email me: KameraJaeger@gmx.de cheers Karsten
