I bought this Zephyr from another steadicam forum member. It has worked out great. A custom monitor yoke and the grip were added. Both are removable. The OE tiffen monitor mount hardware is included. I never had any issues with the arm, sled, or vest while operating. All components in the kit are in great working condition. No missing parts. Items have typical signs of use. Mainly seen on the vest and a few nicks on the outside of the arm. It has been carefully looked after by myself as it was by the original owner. It is time to make some space and find this system a new home. I am asking $5000.00 on the complete system: (sled, arm, vest, one dovetail, docking bracket, removable weights, low mode bracket, and thermodyne case) These system extensions are available to add individually when purchasing the zephyr. Hello, I have a Steadicam 3A for sale. I first bought the rig in 2005 as a college student getting into Steadicam. Peter Abraham generously helped me put the rig together; Terry West gutted and rebuilt the electronics complete with a new breakout box that mimics the Ultra sled. in 2011, Robert Luna rebuilt my arm. It hasn't been used a lot since. It's an older rig, but it can hold up to 60 lbs. Package is: Sled Arm Vest Steadicam Zephyr Case (optional -- it's a heavy-duty case that fits the rig; cut the foam to make it more custom). I'm based in LA if you want to check it out. Hello all! Im deciding between two types of batteries for my first pro rig, between Core's batteries ( https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1135054-REG/switronix_gold_mount_4x_hypercore.html ) and BCB (https://broadcastcamerabatteries.com/shop/monster-kit/?mount=v-mount). I've used Core before and love them, last long, convenient and easy to see what the battery life is at, usb plus ptap in them, but I wanted to hear from other operators who own Core or BCB batteries and what they think of them (particularly BCB). I can afford the difference but I'm wondering is the price difference between Core and BCB worth it? Thank you, Joseph H.

Putting the feelers out there. This arm has treated me very well and is in very good condition. The arm used to belong to Scott Sakamoto, his name is engraved in the arm and I will include custom Magnesium parts that were given to me that are lightweight and will ensure a long life in case you want to switch out hinges and rotate annually etc. Robert Luna serviced it about two years ago, the pin has been shaved so that it fits Pro and Tiffen Socket blocks. Comes with an arm bag, cover sleeves and a 6in arm post. Asking $5000 USD obo

I'm getting ready to purchase either a used Flyer LE or a used Scout. I have flown the Flyer as a rental many times and feel comfortable with it. I have never flown a scout. I understand the Scout is a newer / updated version of the Flyer and may have some improvements over the Flyer and is generally newer and more modern. My concern with the Scout it is designed to only mount one Anton Bauer battery to the bottom of the sled, the two battery design of the Flyer seems to add more counterwieght. I understand the Scout is designed to balance with screw on "Merlin" weights. Perhaps the scout is a no-brainer in terms of just going with a newer system but just wanted to get some advice from people with more experience with both. Sometimes newer is not allways better in my experience. Thanks! In a world full of brushless gimbals, I'm excited to become a Steadicam owner. No gimbal will ever replace the Steadicam concept for long tracking shots.

Hi need help with the swaying issue. I don't know if it's an issue or its just normal I am new to Steadicam and this is my first Steadicam. I tried sony alpha 7sii and also with 5d mark 3 and 4. After performing static and dynamic balance the sled is swaying slightly. I have also tried different drop time from 1 sec to 3 secs its the same for every change that I make. Its a brand new Steadicam. Also when I wear the vest and arm and perform a walk the swaying shows up. Let me know if I am doing something wrong or is it normal for a little sway.

Sled is used and in good operating condition. This sled was just fully serviced at Tiffen (it literally came back today). Ultra 2c sled Tilt stage Motorized top stage Ultra Highbright Monitor with built-in level (panel was completely replaced at Tiffen about 2 years ago). Accessories: - Hill docking bracket - 2 x plates (two long, one short) - bunch of power cables to camera (among them arri alexa & 12V 4 pin XLR) 2 x monitor power / SD cable - gimbal remote charging cable - thermodyne transport case (one latch is broken – thanks Delta) Sled is currently cabled for dual 12V and hot swap (can easily be changed to 24V / 12V) The monitor post clamp was re-inforced with a weld to prevent vibrations The monitor rod clamp was replaced for a better titanium alternative (original kept breaking). This is a very fine sled with all the bells and whistles. Selling because I just dropped $60k on a Trinity rig. Sled can be checked out in New York.
