  1. Hi everyone As I have moved on to the Trinity 2, I am selling here my Trinity (1) with quite a few extras. A couple of notes upfront, the head has been checked and serviced last week at FOMA and all calibrations and values are factory reset. The Rig has obviously cosmetic wear but is fully functional. It also has all the available upgrades done (24V upgrade, quicklock upgrade (head), pendulum upgrade). List of items that will come with the package. 1 x ARRI Trinity Head 1 x ARRI Trinity Joystick 1 x Transvideo ARRI Starlite 5" monitor (with extra power cable for external use) 1 x ARRI Trinity joystick 1 x ARRI Starlite monitor mounting bracket 1 x ARRI Trinity joystick main cable 1 x ARRI Trinity joystick > Starlite monitor powercable (5pin Lemo angled > 5pin Lemo straight) 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis 1.8" post with fine adjustment 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis 1.8" gimbal 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis gimbal handle extension 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis knurled gimbal extension for low mode 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis post tool 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis docking bracket 1 x ARRI CSS stabilizer plate 2 x ARRI Trinity 18mm battery plate connection rods (to obtain the triangle formation) 1 x ARRI Trinity/Artemis post extension (gives you another 21 cm of extra post length) 1 x set of Trinity power cables (lower sled) 4 x Goldmount battery plates (the basic ARRI package includes only three, I'm throwing in one extra plate) 1 x cam power cable, Trinity > ARRI Alexa Mini, Mini LF, Amira 12V 1 x cam power cable, Trinity > ARRI Alexa, Alexa LF, etc. 12V/24V (2pin Fischer) 1 x cam power cable, Trinity > RED DSMC2 cameras (6pin Lemo) 12V 1 x cam power cable, Trinity > 4pin XLR 12V 1 x external power cable to power the Trinity head (d-tap > 4pin Lemo) 2 x Belden 60 cm BNC cables in bundle (they are set up to be used in a most efficient in combination with most camera packages in the head) 1 x Optical Support 3D printed Headlock (to lock the head in the tilt axis, this item is damaged but still usable and functional) 4 x Optical Support 3D printed bumpers (to protect the sides of the head base) 1 x Optical Support 3D printed wishbone (to lock or limit the roll axis) 1 x Lenovo tablet with Windows10 and USB cable to connect to the head through the FOMA software 1 x Peli Air Case 1615 with custom fit foam inlay for the Artemis post 1 x Peli Case 1780 with custom fit foam inlay to transport the Trinity Rig with minimum disassembling (custom design) Few other notes: The head itself will come in a custom fit foam inlay in a box, but without a case! You will need to buy that case (SKB 3i-2317-14BE). If the buyer wishes, I can put the whole rig into the Peli Case 1780, but shipping might become very costly like this and I wouldn't recommend shipping the Trinity as assembled as it would be. The stand visible in the pictures is not included in the package. Sale within the EU will be preferred!! Buyer pays money transaction fees and shipping fees. Price: 38000 € EUR (plus taxes if you're based in Germany) For further questions and details shoot me a message. Cheers

  4. Hi everyone! I always love perusing this site and reading about other ops journey and setups so I figured I’d finally give back a little and show my current set up. After years of being a gimbal op and hating how the ArmorMan 2 was on my body, as well as just the restriction of doorways and the absence of a good low-mode option, I finally pulled the trigger and got the SmartSystems Matrix sled with X1 arm…. And boy do I LOVE IT! I get the ergonomics and operability of a Steadicam with the roll control and smooth action of a gimbal. As well as being able to do some pretty crazy moves (with the execption of the trinity low to high jib mode in 1 shot - the tail gets in the way) + being able to switch to low mode in 15 seconds. :) Feel free to use this post to ask any questions of the setup or operation of it. I’m currently on a show that we are rocking the Venice + recorder + k35s + Preston … a 29lb camera package. With counter weights, the total sled comes in at 73lbs It’s a beast but with some workouts, smart operation, and taking care of my body, I’ve gotten exceptionally comfortable with it. We’re regularly doing 15-20 mins walk and talks + 100meter+ moves. It’s not for the faint of heart (or back) but neither is the Trinity or Omega. Happy operating and shooting!
  5. Hello! I’m selling my brand new horizon monitor system from Smartsystem. This thing keeps your monitor always in the same position even if you rotate the camera. Great for trinity or ronity ops. Or steadi ops who do a lot of dutching. It came with my Matrix Package and I just don’t find myself using it, and really could use the money right now. Truly brand new out of the case. Put it on twice to practice. Comes with all you see in the pics - weights, brackets, case + power cables that I forgot to take pics of. New price is $1600 $1100 and it’s yours I’d prefer cash & local pickup in LA, but I’m willing to ship for the cost of shipping.

  7. I didn't know where to post this question, if is no t the right place please let me know so I can address it correctly. Does any one have any tips or advices on mounting Arriflex 416 with a 400ft magazine on a Trinity? it would be a lot of help, the important is on having video on the transvideo mounted on the gimbal.
  8. Hi everyone I'm selling my ARRI Artemis CineBroadcast lower sled. It might come in handy when you own a Trinity, so you could convert it to a regular Steadicam when you need one or if you're in the market for for an Artemis rig anyways. It has signs of usage here and there, nothing major though as you can see on the pictures and is fully functional. It doesn't include the third battery plate. The lower sled is located in Berlin, Germany. Contact me for more details at info@ozzyoksuz.com Buyer pays for shipping and money transfer fees. I'm asking 4300,- € Euros Cheers

  12. I’m a fairly new operator 3 years and going, started with a zephyr system and moved to a GPI pro system. I’m wondering what the community thinks of the volt vs trinity? They both have similar purposes and yet different implementation. I’m wondering what every one thinks... Pros and cons of both? Is one better than the other? challenges of either system? Trinity cost more but is the ability to invert the camera to low mode while shooting worth it? With a GPI sled I have the option of going either direction but I’m not sure which is better to invest in?
  13. Hey all, I saw on newshooter.com post about this sled being released by SmartSystem about 7 months ago. First, I don't know the quality of their products, so how are their sleds? I know they are more a "budget" sled compared to some of the bigger brands such as GPI Pro, Tiffen, MKV, and Arri, but are they at least decent? I have the Glidecam X45 sled, and I feel it's pretty good for it's price point. I have a Ronin 2 already, so seeing this as my next step sled to get into a "poor man's Trinity" would be great. Plus, I like the option it can be converted into a standard sled for normal Steadi use, as well. If any one can chime in on this, that would be wonderful. Thank you!
  14. Selling Sachtler Act2 Vest - it's in superb condition. Super comfortable and easily adjustable, I've just decided the exovest is a better fit for me. Comes with an additional larger back pad section and a carrying bag. Asking $3250 obo, includes free shipping within the US. Cheers!
  15. SALE PENDING For sale is an Arri Artemis / Trinity system. This is a full system to either use it as a regular steadicam sled or a trinity. Please note that for the regular sled you will need to get a monitor bracket and monitor (I am currently using a transvideo monitor and camjam bracket and I am keeping those). You also need a monitor for the Trinity. I am currently using a SmallHD 503 high bright – but you can also use the Transvideo 5” Starlite. The system is about 18 months old and was purchased new from Arri in Blauvelt, New York. It was regularly serviced and is in perfect working condition. Artemis Sled is in very good condition with one very minor scratch on top stage and some inevitable superficial scratches on the gimbal cap where you dock. Trinity head has seen little use and is in mint condition. The battery plates have been customized with cheese plates to accommodate accessories such as wireless video etc. Included are: - Artemis Cine Broadcast 1.8'' sled / AB batteries - 3rd AB Plate (under post) - artemis Camera Plate 8'' - artemis Post Tool 1.8'' / 1.5'' - post extension - rain cover for bottom hanger - 2 x docking / balancing bracket - Trinity head - Trinity joystick & cable - Power cables for bottom stage Trinity - Power cables for regular monitor (lemo 2pin) and Transvideo Starlite 5” - Focus power out > D-tap power splitter x 2 - Alexa Mini Power cable - Fisher Arri 24V Power cable - Amira control cable - extra mounting / accessory plate for Trinity / Artemis rods (pictured gyro is not included) - Tenba storage and transport case for Trinity head I wish I would not have to say this but: No barter, no trades, no discounts, no installments, no financing, no tire kicking, no nonsense. For the inevitable “why are you selling question”: As an equipment owner I buy and sell gear all the time. The Trinity is a brilliant and unique piece of equipment. But I have decided to prioritize other aspects of my work. The system is located and can be inspected just North of New York City. Buyer can pickup or pay for shipping of choice. New Value around $ 62k. Price: US $ 49,500k high rez pictures of all parts / details / accessories are here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uc44w3649inot63/AAAL887oOAfwYhmV83wQ191Ya?dl=0

  17. Hi all, I am new to the forums and keen to hear feedback from steadicam operators all over on something I produced this summer. I am a beta/product tester for Vitec Videocom and as part of a Kickstarter project I have launched I was lucky enough to have Curt Schaller operate the prototype SMX 20 'Artemis Trinity' on my pitch film. It has been getting some good and bad feedback, all of which I understand, but I wanted to hear from actual operators in the industry. As a DoP I have my issues with the end product that we created but I think it's still a really decent effort given the ambitious one-shot nature of it. The Artemis Trinity has actually now been adapted to iron out the imperfections that are visible on my pitch film, but I'd love to know what others think of the prototype's efforts. Any and all feedback is great, and I will actually pass it on to Sachtler. Please check out the pitch film here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paulcook/magpie Thank you for your time.
