Premium Members Mark Karavite Posted July 14, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 14, 2017 I'm curious what everyone is using for a monitor rain cover. I have a new Boland, which is a great monitor, but not even close to watertight, as the monitor housing has venting holes. Looking for a good rain cover option. Thanks! Premium Members Deke Keener Posted July 14, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 14, 2017 I got one made for a Transvideo and modified it to work with my Boland. Easy enough.

Premium Members Mark Karavite Posted July 14, 2017 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 14, 2017 Lazy me, I just google'd it and found it for sale at B&H. Which one did you buy, I assume the one for a 7" Transvideo? Also, I'm sorry to hear about the stuntman who was hurt on your set the other day, very sad. Stay safe out there! Premium Members Deke Keener Posted July 14, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 14, 2017 Hi Mark - Yeah, the one for the 7". I have a CamJam mount, so I wound up making a slit up the sides for the yoke, and ran some Velcro around the edges of the screen to keep it in place, but it's worked great on a number of occasions. And thanks for the kind words. Such a tragic accident. Cheers, - Deke
Brett Manyluk
Can anyone post pictures of what they've done for their rain covers that fit with the CamJam mount? I've made one too, but I'm always looking for ways to improve it. And light rain is one thing to design for, torrential downpour or nasty rain towers is another. Thanks!
