Premium Members brett.mayfield Posted March 26, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 hey yall curious how yall leave your rig on the camera truck. the last three shows ive done totally different ways. ive got the bad from rocksteadi and am very happy with it. it slept on a shelf the last few months whereas before it was on the top of my cart, which i kinda prefer. ACs would like to make a foam bed for it on a truck shelf. im considering a hard case that is slimmer than a 1650 but tougher, like a thermodyne. just wondering if yall have pictures or ways that you prefer. brett. Premium Members Deke Keener Posted March 27, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 27, 2018 I just recently built this coffin. Got inspired when I saw a dayplayer utility drop his backpack on my furny padded sled... Its pretty simple, but I think itll do a better job of protecting it without having to buy another case. 1

Premium Members Damien Tessandier Posted September 15, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 15, 2018 Am I the only one leaving it on my cart, as he is on set? Just holding the lower part with a magic arm? Am I totally dumb or anyone else does the same?
Premium Members brett.mayfield Posted September 17, 2018 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted September 17, 2018 for this show my 2AC really wanted to get it off the cart so that he's got space to drop some of my other set gear. I figure since he's really the one to deal with it that I can't really complain. i will say that on one show the truck had some work done on the AC over a weekend and transpo didn't ratchet down the carts that they unratcheted. well my cart spilled out of the side door when we opened it Monday morning on set, including my rig. I think that this is exceedingly rare, but I won't be a sucker a second time so I like shelves now. brett.
