Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted March 29, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 Today he was at home .... I was there and he show me a lot nice toys. Thanks for the input fellas. Gosh maybe I have the wrong email address. Who knows the time difference between the US and Germany. In regards to Euros taking lots of holidays, frankly that's a far more civilized way to live. Americanos live for thier one or two weeks of vacation a year. What rippoff. At least the as freelancers most technicians here in the US have way more time off than the stereotypical office worker. Sorry for the rant. Ramon

Premium Members Jason Torbitt Posted April 13, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 13, 2006 I can't speak for their sled, but the accessories are of an extremely high quality, I have dovetail plates, motor rods, brackets and low mode cage which are all Baer-bel and they are definatly worth the spend - if all Markus' gear is to the same excellent quality then it should be an excellent system to operate. Premium Members Daniel Stilling DFF Posted April 13, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 13, 2006 Hi, I've been using Baer Bel's for about 5-6 years now, and after havng had a IIIA and someother less mentionable systems, I must say that the Titanium sled is excellent, the electronics are very smart and reliable. I just got done working for 7 months straight on a TV series, where we would use Steadicam every day, and I didn't have any problems whatsoever with the Steadicam gear. THe cameras (SR 3's) would go down all the time, the Preston suffered, but the Baer Bel was always good. Markus is a great guy, and as Guido said, he will customize anything for you, Have fun, Dan

There was bit of a delay so Markus threw in some 15mm motor rods just to keep me happy. The craftmanship is great and the service is even better. I can only speak for my purchase but what beautiful stuff. Ramon
