Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted March 2, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 2, 2004 Just for the record I think Lost in Translation is the best film I saw last year. It was definately one of my favorites as well Dan. I might have said favorite until tonight....I saw "In America". Wow! What a beautiful film. I highly recommend it to anyone. Talk about acting! And I saw Howard Smith's and Will Arnot's names in the credit's if I'm not mistaken. Really nice work guys! Great film. Oh, and I have to mention "Elephant" again as one of my favorites this year as well. Another great bit of filmmaking and steadicam operating. PatrickvanWeeren
Oke oke your all good people ..... I should have been aware of the OFF TOPIC banner. Sorry I'm just very stupid but friendly. I guess I was just agitated and a bit worried about the way this forum is changing lately. Maybe progress is good and my glasses aren't. If anyone wants to talk about the alphabetic order of telephone books, gardening, french toast and the way eggs should be boiled please be my guest ! Kind regards, Patrick "off topic since he was born" Van Weeren

Anthony Hardwick
Gnespolo, My friend's wife's name is Mai. I think that's the way it's spelled. It's pronounced "my" in English. I don't know her maiden name, but it's now Mrs. Smith. My friend's name is Owen, so if you run into a gringo named Owen running around Buenos Aires with a beautiful woman named Mai... it's probably them. They'll be down there for another two weeks or so. I'm not really sure if she worked in film in Buenos Aires, but she does some art dept. stuff here. Take care, Anthony
