Premium Members Jessica Lopez Posted July 31, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 I worked with the Z1U's before and we recorded live on FTP (SD) and on tape (HD) at the same time. Check your menu. I believe there is an option to output. I am not definite though. If you don't have that model camera to work with I suggest going to a camera house and asking someone to show you the Z1U.
Premium Members Sydney Seeber Posted July 31, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 I've got like 3-4 of these cameras lying around... That particular camera has 3 analog video outputs. 1st is the 1/8" jack that outputs NTSC video along with audio, then there's the S-Video jack, and a custom interface for analog 1080i. You'll need the 1/8" to audio/video splitter cable that came with the camera, then you'll need a BNC to RCA converter, found at Fry's/Radio Shack, etc. If the original cable is lost, any 1/8" to RCA video capable cable will do
