Premium Members Charles Papert Posted September 10, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 Timing is everything--Richie, I'm currently working on a universal monitor yoke solution compatible with the standard spud that has some nice features. Unfortunately we are still in the design and prototype stages--it will be a little while I'm afraid. In the meantime, Nebtek has the intermediate part (http://www.nebtek.com/search.php) that will mate with the XCS stuff. The picture is completely confusing but it's the right part! Premium Members Charles Papert Posted September 10, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 ha, thanks Tom. I failed cut-and-paste in grade school. Of course we used scissors and glue back then.

Hi Charles, You're right, the picture is confusing. I've updated our site with some new images, including a size comparison. Also we now have the NEBTEK Steadimounts back in stock. Here's a link to the Steadimount product page, thanks for your feedback and support.

Hi Charles, I know your priorities and focus have changed since you posted in this thread about manufacturing a monitor yoke however I am wondering if you are still planning to do this. I have a the 6.5" Marshall 651STX and have drawn up nothing in the way of a monitor yoke that's presently available. Quite bizzare... Googling "monitor yokes" brings up nothing except for 17 and 24 inch monitors. Even Marshall has nothing, or so it seems. -Andrew
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted May 6, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 6, 2011 Hey Andrew, I could probably work on some plans for you. I've got the same monitor, and I also could use a better mounting system (currently using a tilt head off a monopod... ugly, but it's at least solid when I lock it). Since the monitor's got those screw holes on the sides of it, it might require less parts than the typical yoke mount.
