Premium Members Kevin Andrews SOC Posted September 15, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 Wondering how many takes they went through. I mean, if the skateboarder flubbed one trick, I assume it was do over. That made me tired. But I would LOVE to try it!
Premium Members Joe Lawry Posted September 15, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 Amazing, would love to know how the lock off was done.. the shot is obviously still moving, but considering the time ramp, how does it stay so still?.. probably asking a stupid question with an obvious answer.. Premium Members Sanjay Sami Posted September 15, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 Amazing, would love to know how the lock off was done.. the shot is obviously still moving, but considering the time ramp, how does it stay so still?.. probably asking a stupid question with an obvious answer.. My thought too. If you look carefully, the rig is breathing, and does not look to change speed on the background on the time ramps. Phenomenal operating. Some great stuff on the stairs and pre emptive headroom for guys about to enter was spot on. Some really tough transitions from Segway ? Doorway dolly ? as well. Fantastic stuff. Premium Members Lars Erik Posted September 15, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 Lock off scene was really great, and I'm guessing the skateboard scene at the end in the hall is done on a Segway possibly? A couple of times there's too much headroom for my taste, but that's only details. Other than that, one of the best long Steadicam shots I've seen in a while. Great work! Inspiring. Would be great to know how the video was done. Camera load etc. Thanks for posting this Pedro. LE
Martin Hawkes
There are some behind the scenes photos at the same site that show the camera and steadicam set up: http://theberrics.com/depth-of-field/go-all-day.html/view:4e6ff369-7ed8-4904-a361-0d50323849cf Good stuff!
