Premium Members Edvard Friis-Moeller DFF Posted November 18, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 18, 2009 I´m in the process of buying a Preston system, and just got a message from the that they no longer make the gimbal mounted microforce controller. I suppose it's because it was part of their analogue package, but as i will be doing a lot of jobs the next year with both my own Century compact zooms and the new Optimos, i would like to hear if anybody has figured out a solution ? Thanks Edvard

Site Sponsor Christian Betz Posted December 9, 2009 Site Sponsor Report Share Posted December 9, 2009 The preston was the only perfect zoom control ever exist. As they are not manufactured anymore we decide to design a similar one for use with existing digital motors like preston, heden, btm, scorpio. The joystick mount for the gimbal handle will be a little bit more comfortable. The unit should be ready for shipping mid of January. Please send your mail that we can keep you informed. Hi Christian, What do you really meant? You think "digital" is a top high-tech thing that will change the world of follow focus! If you are that good - "talking digital"- why don't you invent yourself one rather than replicate an absolute discontinued product of someone else? Ken.
