I have a week long shoot and I can't afford to buy cables outright. Does anyone know of anyone who rents the cables and bushing to get my preston running with the Panaflex? Does anyone know of anyone who rents the cables and bushing to get my preston running with the Panaflex? a Preston Panavision Run cable cost $210, the bushings are $35 each. so your looking at a total investment of $280... I fail to see the issues, I mean you own a preston and are putting yourself out there as a Steadicam operator.
