The bottom spar (over me big belly) section of my PRO vest has started squeaking like an old man who has eaten too much cheese. Anyone experienced this before? I've checked the screws etc and it's definitely the foam. I come to a lock off and it squaeks as i breath. Heading to PRO to pick up new foam and hoping that works. Anyone? Bueller?

If you end up with an extra set of pads you don't need I might be interested in taking them off your hands. Working on moding a vest(not a pro) at the moment and if they are the right dimensions they might come in handy.

I just may. I'll let you know.

had a similar squeak...while wearing it I narrowed it down to the lower right, where the plastic "wing" goes behind the aluminum front plate. I pushed half a clothes pin up there and it solved the problem. Every once and a while the clothes pin will drop out while putting the vest on...people wonder where exactly the clothes pin came out from!

Amazingly that's exactly where I think the problem was. I took that off and spread a thin layer of teflon grease in there and it seemed to do the trick (at least in the living room, we'll see what happens on set today).

Thanks

Still meaning to come by set to talk NYC, just swamped.

When looking at the pics of the pro vest, it looks like the socketblock is stuck in the right position? I cant imagine this is the case. So, this vest can be used for regular and goofy ops?

The bridge plate is easily unbolted and flipped to the other side for goofy operation.
