I have an EFP vest that I still love to use but the velcro is getting very worn. I have not found very strong velcro in my search to replace it. Does anyone have any contact for someone who replaces velcro on vests, or a source for velcro of this nature. Thank you!

iTapeStore.com will have what you need. Velcro

They also have hard to find (in reasonable quantities/prices) 3M Dual Lock

Pretty much any canvas / awning or shoe repair shop will have the machines to sew through the vest material. We used to use a company in Orlando for a variety of production related projects but at the moment I can't seem to remember the name.

Hey John,

I used to love my EFP vest as well, my Velcro went south and I replaced all the velcro with the Masters Vest parts and buckles, it was a huge improvement...... Call Mike or Dan over at Tiffen / Steadicam they have all the parts you need.

FYI: Sold my EFP vest and now the Pro Vest is an even bigger improvement but a much bigger investment

Hope your well, see you at Disney
