Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted July 6, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 Just wondering if anyone is using the peaking focus assist function on their monitors while operating steadicam. Seems like a great tool but could get in the way of composing a frame. While AC's use it all the time to gauge focus seems like operators could use it as well but I've never tried it. BTW, I watched "The Contender" last night. Henry Tirl was the Steadicam op on that show and did a fantastic job. A couple of challenging stairwell shots.
