I searched in vain for that a while back, Jens. I've been planning to have Location Sound make me a pigtail adaptor so I can use an existing headset and feed it both sources. Not especially complicated, just need the Motorola tip as the other one is of course standard 1/8".

Talk to the audio repair tech upstairs at Location Sound; I can't remember his name right now but he's a Ham radio operator as well and can build whatever you want.

He's built a few custom Comtek / earbud two-way systems for me for live work. Basically using a Lectrosonic UCR 100 system transmitter mounted on the sled / camera to send the Directors audio to a receiver pack attached to my vest. He made a stubby mic for the back of the camera to lean into and talk back. I know Rob, Andrew and Tore have the same or similar setups using Sennheiser packs. LS has a wired 9v batter module as well that I put a Lemo on to power the transmitter from my sled instead of running through 9v batteries all the time.

yes, the cut-out time is a drawback.
