Premium Members Nils Valkenborgh Posted July 1, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 Hi Rob, Really like the adjustments, especially the shortening of the post (I'm also vertically challenged :-) What's the maximum extension with this rig? I figure 45" seeing the original phantom extends to 49" and you shortened it by 4? also is it lighter than the original? (can't imagine the extra connectors and return-monitor weigh that much...) Greetings Nils

Greetings Nils Hey Nils, Yes it's lighter and the return monitor and bracket only weighs ounces, you are correct on the full extension thanks for the kind words
Premium Members James Leonzio Posted May 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Hey Rob, I assume you're still using your custom SKB case? How is it holding up? Any complaints? Do you know the model number of your SKB case? I'm looking to upgrade my stock Archer2 case, as the pull out handle has self-destructed and it's just about impossible to wheel around now. Let me know when you get a chance. thanks man, James

It's the same size as a peli 1950, or Storm 2950 only the taper is slightly less so it gives you a little more room inside. If you call Innerspace cases they can give you a quote, that's where I got mine. Check the length of your Archer 2 because I'm not sure it will fit in any of those cases Hope that helps
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted February 4, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 The skb is the 2918-10, there is a 2918-14 which is a lot deeper than the 1650 "like" one., You can put a lot more stuff in the 14": deep one but it'll weigh ...oh, it will weigh..! Premium Members Rob Vuona SOC Posted February 5, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 5, 2014 I'm at 60 lbs now I can't imagine filling a 14" deep case it would be way past the 70 lb mark.
