Flyer Le Monitor No signal

Hi,

I have received the steadicam flyer le today and we have one big problem....we cant get any picture out on the monitor provided...

the type of the monitor that we received alongside the Flyer Le Kit is the 7inch TFT LCD MONITOR - the funny thing with this monitor is the fact that there is only one

cable going inside it...is this normal? is it both for power and sdi combined...

we plugged one side of camera sdi out into the sdi input we found in the sled...we powered the monitor with additionl batteries and it seems to be working fine...

we can see all menus and everythinh however no video input...just a "no signal" sign

I am connecting the ex-1 using its sdi output and the cable provided by steadicam in the kit ...the monitor detects all changes in the menus - the

blue screen changes to digital snow and then it says no signal - no matter what we do...

we set the ex-1 to sdi standard definition output but yet nothing...

do you have any idea what should we do in order to make this thing work? please let us know as soon as possible thanks...

also the T-handle allen wrench wasnt provided in the kit that we bought is this normal?

thanks for the input

It sounds like you have the standard def monitor. If so, it is composite only and the SDI camera output won't work. You need to feed the camera's composite SD signal to the sled's video input and it should feed to the multi-pin connector on the monitor.

As for the t-handle wrench...yes, that should have been included.
