Wanted Steadicam SK / SK II / Flyer

I would gladly buy a Flyer, but for $4500-$5200 price range. However, it cost $6100 and that is just too much for me. I was hopeing that someone in here would have a Flyer for sell - bought for one time work and redy to give it away for a bit less money. :(

In the UK you can hire a flyer for round £70 per day. THis would be the best way you to find out if the rig is for you. As your probably in the states, it probably wouldn't even cost this much. Then if you like it you can try to get an ex hire or ex demo rig second hand for a good price. Try large hire places or similar.

Good luck and may all your troubles be little ones.

Matt.

Hi Job,

I`ve seen them. But I think the V-35 will be to expensive for me at this time. I have made up my mind to go for SK. You said yourself that you have been working with that rig for a few years. So if it was good for you for such a period of times i will be good for me. And in 2-3 years - who knows may be I will upgrade to something more serious. But first I will go for SOA workshops :)

It is just a matter of money. I would love to buy myself a better rig, but I don`t want to loan myself. I just have about enough money to get used SK, so I will get it and train, train, train... and when I will be good enough then I will use the rig to pay it self off. After that a simple udgrade will accure :)

I just can`t wait to get the rig!!! :D

Hi again!

I just wanted to tell all of you that I have end up with a... EFP!!! :D

The system is in a great shape, have some upgrades on it and works like a dream.

All I`m missing are 2 focus/iris motors - Heden to be specific, and some rods to put them on, but I will look up them over the net - someone should have some old stuff for sale :)

Thank you all for helping me with picking up the right stuff for start.
