My Inovativ Steadicart is here!

so I have the first Steadicart that Inovativ Carts built and I gotta say they lived up to their promise and my high expectations. The build quality is amazing, the Tig Welding is perfect, attention to detail is spot on, and the feature set is perfect. Finally a set of wheel's caster and brakes that is worthy of our investment in our other gear. Due to the ground up design the work surface is larger than a Magliner conversion and easier to use than a Yeager cart, and that work surface has one of Inovativ's "Hidden features" Not only can you raise the top shelf by 12 inches in 2" increments BUT the riser tubes have built in Assist springs to help you raise and lower the top shelf, and that top shelf is level thanks to the four heavy duty Heim Joints at the base of top shelf risers. Even though this cart is LIGHTER than a Magliner conversion or Yeager cart it can still carry a HALF TON, Yup it's designed to carry 1000 lbs.

I'll have more to say about the cart after we use it for a few days and I hear what my 1st and 2nd Assistant think about it. In the mean time here are some really crappy iPhone Photo's shot at wrap tonight.

Damnnnnnn that is a thing of beauty, simple, minimal, yet everything you need.

The combined stand holder and vest holder is a piece of design genius, I have a feeling I may need to be sitting down though when I hear the price, but I guess the shiny goodies never come cheap eh.

That seems really nice!

Those drawers where manufactered by in inovativ as well? How heavy are they? Im currently on a mission to limit every case to 25kg max.

The Drawers are from A&S case and I had them built with flylite iirc the empty weight of the case as you see it is 25lbs, I have a shipping cover for the front of it that adds another albs (Again from memory) Even Fully loaded I can easily lift the case and put it in my trunk

I´ve been looking for the perfect cart for a while and this might be it. What´s the total hight of the cart when the topshelf is in its lowest position? Thanks.

I think it's in the 30" range at it lowest

One other thing I didn't mention is that the cart is a no tools cart, everything is a captive release button

Can you start with the Standard Ranger Cart and add these accessories, or does this cart have specific features and mounting brackets that are unique and require to purchase the complete package off the bat?

I'm asking this because someone else I work with may want to use the cart when i'm not using it, so it could be handy to be able to quickly and easily remove the steadicam specific bits.

just caught their website, a few cool updates in the accessories section, well worth checking out for anyone who is interested, was going to buy a magliner but think i'm going to settle for borrowing one and save up for one of these in the mean time.

If you plan on having a standard coffin case or drawer system built you need to order the steadicam version which is slightly longer and wider than the stock Rangers. You also have to order the steadicam conversion kit (A or B ) and the Channel Blocks. The steadicam Conversion kit removes with 3 tool-less Bolts and you leave the vest hanger on the back

I have decided to be the first one to own the new Cinetronics 7" monitor housed in the soon to be released Inovativ case...the hidden feature is an adjustable width (from 9" to 17" for built in inertia and for scraping paint off door jams as you pass through them. The best part is a giant pull out drawer (42" work surface) for your keys, sunglasses, stash of roofies and emergency hit of chronic, tube of lisagav and clean underwear. The drawer isn't designed to carry a half ton like the cart, but it weighs a half ton necessitating the new Skipps titanium cup holder on a gimbal so you won't spill your martini as the extra wide monitor makes you list back and forth and acts as an airfoil on windy exteriors.

It will debut at the transmitter debacle. Suck it
