I OWN A STEADICAM MERLIN AND QUITE FRANKLY I'M HAVING A HELL OF A TIME CONFIGURING THE PROPER SETTINGS TO CORRECTLY BALANCE MY CANON 7D USING THE CANON 24-70MM 2.8 L LENS. I'VE LITERALLY TRIED EVERYTHING, BUT TO NO AVAIL...MERLIN COOKBOOK IS OBSOLETE FOR MY LENS. I'VE TRIED VARIOUS TRIMMING, WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT, ARC SIZE ADJUSTMENT, STAGE...ZIP, ZILCH, NADA! PLEASE ASSIST ME BEFORE A NEWS HEADLINES READS "PEDESTRIAN STRUCK IN THE HEAD FROM A FALLING STEADICAM MERLIN APPARENTLY TOSSED OUT A WINDOW" (JUST KIDDING) THANK YOU AHEAD OF TIME!!!! Also, post details of what you are experiencing (tilting up or down, side so side, are you mounting accessories on the camera, etc.) And please don't post in ALL CAPS, it is hard to read and looks like you are yelling.
