Premium Members Twojay Dhillon Posted November 14, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 I've been predominantly using 19mm rods on my jobs, however, this past weekend I finally used the Pro rods. Immediately I ran into the problem of not being able to completely secure the Hill brackets to the Pro rods; I could still grab the motor and pull it away from the lens. I got through the job by really cranking on the kipp handles on the Hill brackets and also by holding the motors against the lenses during calibration, but on more than one occasion I had to walk away from the DP and assist the assistants in getting the motors to stay in contact with the lens. Looking to see if anybody has ran into this issue and, if so, what they came up with for a workaround. The Hill brackets work great with 19mm rods; definitely a pain with the Pro's.
