Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted December 19, 2011 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 not that i know of, but it interfaces with their LDS data system/display and allows for AUTOfocus with their Lens control system.... Premium Members Benjamin Treplin Posted December 19, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 I prefere the CineTape. The UDM doesn't have a offset feature and the LCD display is sometimes hard to read when you look at it at an angle.
Premium Members Thomas English Posted December 19, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 Yeah, it appears immediately inferior because its not LED- RED and bright!
Premium Members James Davis Posted December 21, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 Indeed, LCD....seriously Arri? Things have moved on since the 90's....it could be a great bit of kit but if you can't see the display properly it won't be much use lol. Premium Members Ben Rowsell Posted December 21, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 I own and use a cinetape but have also setup and used the arri product. They essentially seem to be the same product, same features, etc, but the "viewability" of the arri display at distance seems to be it's biggest downfall....
