This is the first working prototype and has just come off of our CNC. All parts are made from 6082 aluminum and will be hard anodised in black for an incredibly durable finish.

Tired of attaching your accessories to the Alexa using velcro and cable ties? The eCubed Top Plate gives you a big flat surface with loads of mounting holes (149 x 1/4-20 threads and 22 x 3/8-16 threads to be precise) - all at standard Arri spacing. It attaches to the top of the Alexa using the 7 existing 4mm mounting holes. It is completely clear of the fan assembly and runs the full width and height of the remainder of the camera providing 2520mm2 of usable space. You can mount the existing Arri handle and EVF mount to it by using the included long screws. Or you can use this:

For the ultimate in flexibility the eCubed QR Handle is quick release and available in 3 sizes (short, asymmetric and symmetric). It has 4 ,6 or 8 x 3/8-16 threads depending on the handle size. By simply pulling the locking pin back and to the right you can quickly remove the handle.

By using the included T-Rails the handle can be mounted very quickly anywhere on the top plate. Great for 1st ACs and Operators it gives you the flexibility to mount the handle or handles exactly where you need them.

This is the first in a range of quick release accessories we have planned for the Alexa. We are accepting pre-orders now and hope to be shipping finished units by the end of March. We will also have an online store up by then as well.

In the meantime we would love to get your feedback. If you have any questions about the system please do not hesitate to direct message me or post below.
