I operate on a Master/Ultra 2 hybrid sled which has been upgraded to HD and use the decimator to down convert the video for use with my IDX SD Camwave. The problem I run into is with the Decimator at the bottom stage. I run the video cables from the camera to the top stage, from the bottom stage to the Decimator, then to the Camwave, with active loop running to my monitor, but the light indicator on the Decimator doesn't even recognize the video through the sled. No video ever makes it to the monitor or the Camwave. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? The odd part is that when I run the video straight from the camera to the Decimator and active loop through the sled to my monitor it works perfectly. Usually I prefer this setup anyways, mostly for the added weight on the top stage from the Decimator, Camwave, and RED Brick and battery mount.
