Premium Members Tom Wills Posted March 27, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 I think everyone could use a bit of a laugh. And if there ever was cause for a good laugh, here it is: By Golly, if they've been in business for 10 decades, these fellas predated Garret by at least 60 years! They sure must know what they're doing... Oh. First of all, to all the newbies: If your sled ever looks like this, you have not finished setting it up. Set it down and read the manual. Second of all, Duble Sections, a typo repeated no less than 3 times on the eBay page for this! Wait, is that a gimbal grip? Why is it only 2 inches long? What? Why is the battery mount on the bottom, where it's hard to get to? Have any of these designers ever touched a real rig? (continued in next post, since the forum won't let me post this many images at once)
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted March 27, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 (continued from last post) Oh, so the gimbal grip is so small to remind you to not use it, and instead pinch the post with 2 fingers near the bottom. ... Sure... This picture hurts my brain. The man also seems troubled by his new-found crotch-shot potential. Where would we all be today without our ducking brackets? Perhaps with a lot less quacks on set, methinks. And to think that all of this can be yours for the low, low cost of $1400! Surely all the pros will be out of business soon! Premium Members James Davis Posted March 27, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 Where can I buy one? Thinking of selling my Archer, buying a truck full of ducks and one of these, looks awesome.
